  Using max thickness on the backhand
  Compared to the Evolution ELP I used before, this has a lighter touch, makes it easy to put spin on, and has good bounce.
  It doesn't produce an extreme arc, so it's easy to use for meeting the ball as well as for drives, and I felt the balance was really good.
  Against backspin too, it doesn't slip and lifts the ball up nicely.
  You can brush it with the topsheet, but if you really let the ball sink into the sponge you get a higher quality shot.
  I'd recommend this more for the backhand than the forehand, for players who want to hit flat shots but don't want to sacrifice the quality of their drives.

  MAXを裏面に使用
  以前使用していたエボELPに比べてより軽いタッチで回転がかけやすく弾みがあります。
  極端に弧線を描くわけではないのでドライブだけでなくミートもやりやすくバランスがとてもいいと感じました。
  対下回転も滑ることはなくしっかり持ちあがります。
  シートで擦ってもいいですが食い込ませると質の高いボールが出せます。
  フォアよりはバック向けでミートも打ちたいがドライブの質は落としたくない選手にお勧めです。

  Tornado King Power

  

  Using it as a custom Japanese-style square penhold blade.
  I was originally using the KA Speed square blade, and the spin on my topspin drives clearly improved.
  Compared to an outer blade, the feel is quite soft with a hollow "poko-poko" sound.
  I put an Apollo 5 on the forehand, and it pairs well with tacky rubber too - no hardness to it at all, and it's fantastic for putting spin on drives.
  On top of that, the feel has a nice sense of thickness, so blocks don't get pushed around, and it's flawless in rallies.
  The only downside is that, maybe because of the good ball-holding and that soft "poko-poko" feel, smashes aren't great - floating backspin balls in particular are hard to smash.
  I'd recommend this to intermediate-and-up loop players.

  日本式角型特注で使用。
  もともとKAスピード角型を使用していましたがドライブの回転量が明らかに向上しました。
  打球感はアウターから比べるとかなり軟らかくぽこぽこ系です。
  アポロ5をフォアに貼りましたが粘着との相性も良く、硬さを感じずドライブのかけやすさが抜群です。
  さらに、厚みを感じる打球感でブロックも押されず打ち合いでは非の付け所がありません。
  ただ、球持ちがよいのとぽこぽこ打球感のせいかスマッシュはいまいちで、特に浮いた下回転が打ちにくいですね。
  中級以上のドライブマンにお勧めします。

  Spectol Blue

  

  Used the 2.1mm version on the forehand of a Liberta Synergy Japanese-style penhold blade.
  Since the blade has a lot of flex and holds the ball well, I'd tried various short-pips rubbers but hadn't been satisfied with the ball release — this one turned out to be a perfect match.
  It has that classic short-pips feel, and it's easy to hit flat, straight shots.
  Countering the opponent's drives is also easy, so you can play aggressively.
  Knuckle balls don't come out easily for a speed-oriented pips rubber like this — you need to produce them deliberately.
  That said, it's easier to control because of that, and it's a rubber with no issues even in rally exchanges.
  As for spin, it's neither particularly strong nor weak.
  On serves, it's hard to aim for an outright ace through spin, but you do get proper bite on the ball.
  Pair it with a harder blade and the ball might come off too fast, making control difficult.

  2.1㎜をリベルタシナジー日本式の表面で使用
  しなりが強く球持ちがよいラケットのためいろいろな表を使ってみたものの球離れに満足がいかず試してみたところばっちり。
  ザ・表といった打球感で直線的なボールが打ちやすい。
  相手のドライブに対するカウンターもしやすく、攻撃的なプレーができます。
  ナックルはスピード系表としては出にくく、意図的に出す必要があります。
  その分コントロールもしやすくラリー戦でも問題のないラバーです。
  回転に関しては可もなく不可もなくといった感じです。
  サーブも回転量でエースをねらうのは難しいですがちゃんと切れます。
  硬めのラケットと組み合わせると球離れが早すぎてコントロールが難しいかもしれません。

  Used on the reverse side of a Japanese-style penhold.
  I had an image of it being soft, but when applied to the back of a penhold blade, it doesn't just sink in on its own - you don't get that gripping feel unless you swing through properly.
  It doesn't have the difficulty hitting flat shots that other spin-oriented tension rubbers often have, so it seems fine for both loop-drive and hit styles.
  Unless you're an advanced player, this seems like a rubber you could use just fine on the forehand too.
  If you really put spin on it, you can generate enough spin to induce overshoot misses even in backhand-to-backhand rallies.
  However, one thing that bothered me was that against a sharply cut backspin ball, the topspin drive sometimes didn't sink down fully and went long.

  リベルタシナジー日本式の裏面で使用。
  柔らかいというイメージがあったがペンの裏面に貼った場合勝手に食い込むわけではなくしっかり振っていかないとつかむ感覚は得られませんでした。
  他の回転系テンションにありがちなミートの打ちにくさもなく、ドライブ型、ミート型どちらでも問題はなさそうです。
  上級者でなければフォアでも十分使用できそうなラバーです。
  しっかり回転をかけていけばバック対バックのラリーでもオーバーミスを誘えるぐらいの回転量になります。
  ただし、ぶちっと切られた下回転に対してドライブした時にしっかり沈み切らずオーバーすることがあるのが気になりました。

  ASTERIA S

  

  Used at max thickness on the backside of an Aqua Blade 23.
  I picked this up because it's a lightweight, cheap soft-tension rubber.
  Since the same brand's Mantra S was so good, I feel a bit let down.
  It's lost the high grip that the Mantra had - I often had trouble lifting the ball against backspin and lost the spin battle.
  Against topspin too, it's better to attack with a flat hit than a drive. Don't expect much in terms of spin.
  For meaty techniques like blocking and smashing, it's not affected much by spin and gives you a fast-feeling ball.
  As for bounce, it's actually quite a lot for a rubber in this price range - not that different from the Mantra.
  What surprisingly worked well was push and stop. Since it's soft and not suited to grazing shots, I thought it would be bad, but even though the spin amount is low, it seemed to naturally produce low, sharp balls.
  Since you can get the Mantra S for just a few hundred yen more, I'm not sure what this rubber's real niche is...
  It might suit someone who previously used a low-grip rubber like Hammond.

  アクアブレード23の裏面に特厚で使用。
  軽量で安価なソフトテンションラバーということで購入してみました。
  同社のマントラSがとてもよかっただけに期待を少し裏切られた感じがします。
  マントラにあった高いグリップ力がなくなっており、対下回転では持ち上げにくく回転負けすることが良くありました。
  上回転に対してもドライブよりミートで攻めた方がいいですね。回転量に関しては期待できません。
  ブロックやスマッシュなどミート系の技術は回転の影響を受けにくくスピード感のあるボールがでます。
  弾みに関してはこの価格帯のラバーとしてはかなりあります。マントラとそれほど変わってないですね。
  意外とよかったのがツッツキとストップ。柔らかく擦り打ちも向かないのでだめだと思っていましたが回転量は少ないものの
  低く鋭いボールが勝手に出る印象でした。
  後数百円出せばマントラSが買えるのでこのラバーの用途となると…
  以前ハモンドなど引っかかりの少ないラバーを使用していた人にはいいかもしれません。
