I used the thin version on my backhand. The amount of spin on pushes and chops is amazing for a short-pips rubber. In matches, there were many scenes where the opponent caught the ball in the net. On top of that, since the sponge is soft, it holds down the opponent's ball well. The only drawback would probably be that, while your play is stable, you really have to consciously go for it to produce a knuckle ball.

I used the medium thickness on my backhand. Personally, the best part was that knuckle chops flew slowly, and being a truly no-spin knuckle ball, it made opponents overshoot. My pushes don't have a ton of spin, but they stay low, so I don't think they get smashed as easily.

It's an older-generation spin-oriented tension rubber, but compared to other spin-focused rubbers of that era it's easy to get speed with, and it doesn't feel as hard as you might expect, so it's easy to use. The weight is also relatively light.
You might have trouble getting a heavy, spin-loaded ball out of it, but since its trajectory is a bit different from today's rubbers, it might actually be easier to win matches with.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

This is a blade that Waldner also used in his later years as a Nittaku-sponsored player.
If you use it expecting a carbon blade's usual bounce, you'll be underwhelmed by how weak it is. The egg-shaped blade with no flared corners, along with the thin handle, isn't going to appeal to everyone, but it makes it easy to get the right racket angle for curve drives and shoot drives.

I also used this back when Nittaku was the distributor. Picking it up again after a long time, it definitely has that classic Avalox feel. Plain bounce isn't its strong point, but if you add spin and flex the blade to launch the ball, you can get a decent amount of distance. It's a racket that works well for everyone from beginners to advanced players.
