    Compared to something like the Curl P1, this rubber doesn't produce as much unpredictable variation, but in exchange, the pips fold over easily and predictably, making it very easy to use. I tried it with a thin sponge version, and chop blocks stop the ball well, and pushes also tend to come out with topspin and a slight arc, giving them stability.
    I also tried chopping with it. I normally play as a short-pips chopper, so I don't get much bite when I use long pips, but even I was able to get a good amount of chop with this one.
    I'd highly recommend it to anyone using long pips for the first time!

    This is a tension-type long pips rubber, but in a good way it doesn't feel too "tension-y," and it's easy to control. Other tension long pips rubbers have tremendous speed and variation, but I think that comes at the cost of control. Morristo LP, on the other hand, is a bit behind on speed and variation, but its control is as easy as a non-tension rubber.
    It's OX, but I also tried chopping with it. When chopping, you can definitely feel the tension element — it has a bit more bounce than expected. The chop comes out flat and fast, and it looked hard for opponents to loop against.
    I'd recommend this to choppers who want to chop more aggressively, and to close-to-the-table all-around/hitter players who want to be more attacking than a non-tension pips rubber allows, while still keeping stable long-pips play.

    This rubber is just plain soft and easy to control, so it's a rubber for beginners. Both the topsheet and sponge are soft, so even players without much power get good grip on the ball and can put real spin on it. Oddly enough though, it doesn't get overpowered by incoming spin either, so counters work just fine. That said, its maximum power ceiling is low, so I think it would be tough to use at an advanced level... but that also means it's easy to bring out that maximum, so I can definitely recommend it to beginners.
    However, with rubber prices climbing, this one also went up from ¥4,000 to ¥4,800...
    Since it's aimed at beginners, having it climb close to ¥5,000 really stings. Rygan Spin, which was in the same price bracket, only went up to ¥4,200, so that's a bit disappointing in comparison. Still, since it lasts a long time, I think even with the price hike it's still good value for money overall.

    This rubber is hard, no question about it. It's the hardest tension rubber I've ever touched. I normally use Hurricane, so it felt very easy for me to use.
    With light hits the bounce is normal, but on hard hits like drives it bounces tremendously. Loops get a lot of spin thanks to the strong grip of the sheet. Speed-oriented shots need a strong impact given how hard it is, so I think this inevitably ends up being a rubber for advanced players.
    It bounces a lot, but for short-game techniques you don't feel that much bounce, which makes it easy to use.
    I also tried chopping with it, but I felt it isn't really a rubber suited to chopping. Since it's hard and doesn't let the ball sink in easily, I made a lot of mistakes trying to cut the ball. Producing knuckle (no-spin) chops was totally fine, though.
    I felt this is a rubber you can compete with whether you're close to the table or further back!

    This blade is 7-ply, with a thick board, and it's heavy and a bit hard. I normally use a softer blade, so I found it a little hard to handle...
    To put it kindly, the bounce is moderate, but to be blunt, it's a hard 7-ply blade that doesn't fly all that much. Naturally, since the board is thick, it's fairly heavy too. That might be part of why I found it extra hard to handle...
    I've said a few negative things, but I think this is a perfect fit for someone who says "I don't get along with special-material blades, and I want a hard blade that flies just the right amount." It's not for everyone, but for the people it clicks with, I think it really clicks!
