I switched from an all-wood blade to carbon and bought the Zhang Jike. The grip feels a little heavy. Also, it's quite bouncy — the ball feels like it flies off on its own. But when I hit hard shots, both the speed and the spin were great.

The ZLC version flew way too much, but this one feels closer to the Innerforce. It's really easy to use while still packing plenty of destructive power, so definitely give it a try at least once!

I wouldn't recommend it to anyone thinking of switching from a flared handle to a straight one. Maybe it's fine if you have a compact swing or big hands? I used to play with a Liu Shiwen blade, got drawn in by the appeal of a straight handle, and switched to this one. But my attacking shots aren't stable. In particular, balls to the middle and balls I have to jump for aren't stable. The blade wobbles in my hand... The appeal of the straight handle backfired on me. Also, maybe because I can't keep the blade face fixed, I don't get a sense that the power is actually transferring. So I'm thinking of shaving down the area near my thumb. Comparing this to my friend's Jun Mizutani Innerforce straight handle, I can tell this one is rounder and thicker. I think that's the reason it wobbles. Since I've said nothing but bad things, let me mention the upside too. Small backhand drives and flicks over the table have gotten easier to do. Also, during rallies my backhand drives sometimes curve on their own, and likewise, when I drive a ball that comes to the middle with my forehand, it sometimes turns into a shooting drive on its own, so it's fun to produce shots I normally couldn't and watch my opponent struggle with them. Also, I've gained more serve variations. YG serves are easier with this one.

I switched from the Timo Boll W5, but...
There's less of a "grip on the ball" feeling than before.
It's more of a flick-and-fly feel, and I wouldn't say it generates a lot of spin, but I think it's a perfect match for Tenergy 05. Since the blade itself doesn't add much spin but gives decent speed on its own
because of how it's built
