The grip is distinctive and fits my hand really well.
It's an outer blade with good bounce, so it matched really well with tacky rubber.

FL, 88g. Currently my main blade; before this I used the Zhang Jike ZLC.
1. A stronger arc than the ZLC! 2. The feel and handling are similar to the ZLC. Being softer, it holds the ball firmly! 3. The backhand in particular is great — you can really feel it holding the ball!
With the ZLC, against half-long backspin balls, looping was pretty much my only option, but since this blade produces a stronger arc, it's become much easier to power-loop half-long backspin balls, which is what I like most about it. Compared to the ZLC, it holds the ball and the blade is thicker, so you get more distance, more power, and more spin — it has a bit of a 7-ply feel, which is nice. Overall the ball speed dropped a bit though.
Compared to the Timo Boll Spirit, it doesn't just fling the ball away — it holds it properly, and you can feel how good the grip's balance point is.
Compared to the Stradivarius, there are fewer weird over-the-table misses, and I can feel the difference in construction (aramid carbon with ayous plies vs. the Zhang Jike ALC's ALC and limba plies). I think the Zhang Jike ALC is more to the taste of advanced players.
The downside is that, being such a mainstream choice, it's hard to differentiate yourself from other players.

The feel is so addictive that putting MX-P on this blade became a trend at my school.
The thick grip is addictive too.
It doesn't produce much speed, but you get a strong sense of the ball sinking into the rubber, which makes it easy to control.
You can hit really clean balls with it, but from the opponent's side, a clean ball with no quirks is easy to return, so eventually everyone stopped using it.

This was my first outer blade, and I gave it a try.
The first thing that surprised me was the price.
It has a special material in it, so it was a bit pricey, but once I bought it, it bounced incredibly well.
Dignics 05 on the forehand and Dignics 09C on the backhand — both aren't just bouncy, the spin performance is amazing too.

Actually I use Glayzer on my forehand and Glayzer 09C on my backhand, but they weren't in the options, so sorry for the confusion — I substituted the Glayzer series, which is similar to the Dignics series. (Current rubber in use)

This is a re-review.
The ply construction, from the outside in, is:
koto - ALC - limba - paulownia - limba - ALC - kotoSince the ALC sits right underneath the hard koto wood, it's hard. The ball also leaves the blade quickly.
People say it has a sense of gripping the ball, but that's only true among fast, bouncy blades — compared to an inner blade or all-wood blade, it doesn't grip the ball.
Don't get that mixed up.Even setting those downsides aside, it flies like crazy. Because of that, if you pair it with a high-spin rubber (like Tenergy 05, Dignics 05, 09C, or Hurricane-type rubbers) and can put spin on the ball right at the moment of contact, it becomes an incredibly powerful blade.
I could manage it for one-course shots, but in matches there were a lot of times I couldn't, so it was a blade that was too much for me to handle.Another advantage is that the FL grip is easy to hold, so I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a thicker grip. The grip is quietly quite important, but I think this Viscaria-style grip really suits the people it suits, so if you're curious, give it a try.
Conclusion: one of the strongest blades for advanced players. Also recommended for anyone the grip suits. There are also people who buy it out of admiration for Zhang Jike.

This is a comparison against the Tomokazu Harimoto Innerforce Layer ALC I was using before.
1. It flies!
- Being an outer blade, it flies, but it holds the ball fairly well (the short game is easy too). You can produce heavy shots with light effort, but if you don't focus on putting spin on it, you'll get a lot of overshooting misses.
- If this blade flies too much for you, I'd recommend going with an inner-ply blade.
2. It's hard!
- I think part of it is that the rubber I'm pairing with it is hard, but if you don't swing through properly it turns into a machine for producing dead, spinless balls. Maybe the rubber matters a lot here.
3. Easy to swing!
- The grip shape suited my hand and was very easy to hold. Compared to the Harimoto ALC, the blade head is smaller, so it was easier to swing all the way through (the backhand felt especially good).
4. Other notes
- Since this is a Butterfly blade, I'd naturally recommend Butterfly rubbers for it.
- I felt it's best suited to intermediate-to-advanced players. For beginners, I think it's too hard and flies too much, making it difficult.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard
