It's arylate carbon, but since it's an outer blade it's a bit on the hard side. At first it flies a lot. But once you get used to it, it's a fantastic blade that combines speed and stability. I feel like I found a really great blade for myself. People say it pairs well with Tenergy, but it goes so well with G1 that it's addictive. I was worried since I have small hands, but the thick handle actually made it easier to grip firmly. Well, I think everyone's going to feel it a bit differently. If it sounds good, why not give it a try? Just because it's a super-fast blade doesn't mean you need to be scared of it. I think anyone can use it once they get used to it.

This blade balances speed and spin well. That said, because of how it holds the ball, loop drives were a bit hard to pull off. It's one I'd recommend for speed drivers!

I moved over from an Inner Force Layer ZLC, so I'll compare the two.
[Good points]
1. Speed drives go exactly where you want. Even with a thin contact, if your swing speed is there, you get sharp, fast shots. Bite into the ball deeper and you get heavy shots with about the same spin as the Inner Force Layer ZLC.
2. It's stable on techniques that need a gentle touch. With the Inner Force Layer ZLC, the bounce was completely different depending on whether you held the shot back or not, but this blade felt consistent every time, so stops, blocks, and flicks were all stable too.
[Bad points]
1. Because the ball leaves the blade so fast, I felt like players who can't keep a fast, stable swing, or who aren't great at generating spin, will end up hitting a lot of flat, spinless balls.
2. It's heavy, so with max thickness on both sides it gets pretty heavy. If you haven't been building up your strength, I'd recommend the Timo Boll ALC instead.
It's also fine to think of this as a comparison against 7-ply or 5-ply blades.
I'd recommend it to people who are used to heavy wood or special-material blades.
For flat hits and smashes, it produces really fast shots.The FL handle shape is close to ideal, so definitely give it a try.

I switched to this blade from an all-wood one.
Honestly, it doesn't fly too much!
So if you've got the image of it being super fast, don't worry.
Even coming from wood, I got used to it right away!

7 years playing table tennis, and until now I'd never found a blade or rubber that matched me... But one day I was watching a video of Zhang Jike on YouTube, and I thought, maybe mid-distance play suits me? So I bought this blade and put on matching rubbers (Tenergy 80, 80FX). Then I went to my local table tennis club and hit with a friend. Whoa!! This! This is it!! My drives go in! My smashes go in! My serves bite too! (easy to put spin on) I've never met such an amazing blade. I'd guess this is the strongest blade in the Butterfly world — no, in the whole history of table tennis!!! Anyone who gets this long ramble of mine is probably either a table tennis lover or a genius! Sorry for going on so long. (-_-;)> If you get where I'm coming from, please try the [Zhang Jike ALC]! It's a really great blade — the upside is that it's easy to put a lot of spin on and it gives you good speed too, which I liked. The downside would be that the handle is thick, which gave me a bit of trouble with my backhand topspin drive.

I switched over from an Inner Force Layer ZLC.
My biggest impression is that even though it's an outer blade, it still holds the ball well, and the handle makes backhands easy to hit.
Even away from the table it draws a solid arc and lets me keep stable topspin rallies going.
Since the handle makes backhands so easy, chiquita, drives over the table, and drives from mid-distance all come easily too.
The one thing I personally found was that it's a bit hard to get the right angle on my forehand, but that's not an issue once you get used to it.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard
