The handle is thicker than the Timo Boll ALC, so you can get a solid grip on it. Also, the backhand is noticeably easier to hit than the forehand. Because the handle is thick, it takes a while to settle on how to hold it at first, but after hitting with it for a while I think you'll find a grip that fits you perfectly. Honestly, some people don't like this handle — I don't think it suits people with small hands or women very well.

I used to play with a Zhang Jike ZLC with Hurricane Blue Sponge on it!
ZL carbon lets the ball leave the blade fast, so combined with Hurricane it makes this [crack!]
kind of sound when you hit the ball!
But I wasn't getting much spin, so
I switched to the ALC! And then...
it's so easy to use!
Great spin and speed too!
My backhand goes in every time!
Control is great too, maybe because I've got Hurricane on it, but my stops really bite, and my flicks land too! It's really good! But it doesn't have quite as much bounce, so playing far from the table didn't quite suit me, though I think players with more power could pull it off! [I don't have the power, so playing back there was a no-go for me...]

Since it's an outer arylate carbon blade, it flies really fast with max thickness rubber, so control is tough at first, but once you get used to it, it's totally fine. I'm running max thickness on both sides right now, but I think thick would work well too! I don't plan on changing rubbers, so I'm happy with these two.

Since it's an outer carbon blade, it's got a lot of bounce. I went with an FL handle, and it lets me grip it firmly, which makes backhand topspin drives, chiquita, and other backhand techniques really easy to pull off. Once you get used to it, I think it's the best blade — you can play close to the table, drop back, hit from anywhere. For rubbers I've tried a bunch, like Fastarc G1, V15 Extra, Omega V Tour DF, and Target Pro GT H47, but right now I've settled on Butterfly's Tenergy 64 and Rozena. Personally, Omega V Tour DF also felt really good.

I'm a junior high schooler and I'm not as strong as the people around me, so I bought this outer-carbon blade, the Zhang Jike ALC. My impression from using it is that it flies really well! For someone without much power like me, it felt really good. I used to use a Donic Verbesia, but it was different in almost every way. Personally, I'd recommend this blade to people who want to "try out carbon!" or "get a bit more distance on the ball!" Please do use this as a reference when picking your blade!

This was my first arylate carbon blade, and at first it flew way too much! But as I gradually got used to it, I could control it exactly how I wanted, and both the speed and the spin are excellent, so it's a really great blade! You won't regret buying it! The grip looks great too! I definitely want to recommend this one!
