I bought this right away on February 3rd. I'm 68, so I went with a soft setup — V>15 Extra on the forehand and Platinum S max thickness on the backhand — and I'm happy with both the spin and the control. The feel is good and the sweet spot is wide, so I feel like I've made fewer careless mistakes. This is a blade that works from beginners all the way up to advanced players. I think it's also good for older players. It's more about functionality than the slightly unusual shape. The price is a drawback, but if you use it for a long time, you won't lose out. I've been playing table tennis for 50 years, and I think this is a masterpiece blade, right up there with the Korbel, Clipper Wood, Wa no Kiwami Sou, and Ren.

This blade is all-wood, but it's easier to handle than I expected, and it produces good shots too. That said, I'd recommend choosing a rubber that flies well rather than putting on a rubber that doesn't have much pop.

I used to play with a carbon blade, and I bought this one because I wanted more stability.
With this blade, every technique becomes easier, and topspin rallies that I used to struggle to land consistently now go in almost every time.
After playing some matches, my first thought was that it doesn't matter how you hit against backspin — it just works. Also, unless I'm tired or mentally worn down, it feels like anything goes in as long as I swing through properly! What really struck me after trying this blade is that I use tacky rubbers — LOKI and rxton1 — on my forehand, and before buying it, I assumed tacky rubber just wouldn't fly at all on a wooden blade, but I was surprised to find that's absolutely not the case.
This blade really suits anyone, and it works great with tacky rubber too, so I'd definitely recommend it.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

Speed → doesn't bounce much (pairs well with springy rubber)
Control → easy to control
Feel → soft
Ease of swing → more air resistance (because it's hexagonal)This was my first time using a Cyber Shape blade, and since it's easy to control, I thought it would suit beginners well.
It's a blade that pairs well with springy rubber.
Next time I'm thinking of putting Dignics on the forehand and a springy anti-spin rubber on the backhand.

A pretty springy type of 5-ply blade.
That said, it's still just a 5-ply, so the max speed is lower compared to composite blades.
The ball-holding, control, and ball quality typical of plywood blades are excellent.
Also, since the head is large, the balance point shifts toward the tip unless you adjust it. If you like a handle-heavy balance like the Viscaria series, watch out for that. If you really want a handle-heavy balance, the CWT is the better choice.It's a completely different blade from carbon ones.
If you want more speed than this, I'd recommend buying a 7-ply blade instead, or getting the Golden 45.

This is my review after using it as my main blade continuously since it came out.
First, it's a five-ply blade, but since the plies are thick, I think it gives quite a lot of distance on hard shots compared to other five-ply blades.
Control on stops and pushes is good,
and if the ball floats up you can just hit it — it's also quite easy to play with changes of pace on the ball.
Unlike carbon blades, it doesn't have that sense of flying off on its own, so in a good way it's a blade you handle with a manual feel, which gave each technique a clearer sense of sharpness and made me feel like it's easy to improve with.
The corners of the hexagonal shape each work as reference points for checking your racket angle, so it's easy to line up the angle,
and I also noticed that being conscious of things like "serve from here, pass through here" improved the quality of my serves — though that might also be because I switched from carbon to this wood blade, which could make it easier to get sharper shots.
The sweet spot is wide, so you can swing with confidence, making this a perfect blade for intermediate players looking to improve and climb up through the ranks.
I'd like advanced players to experience the good qualities of this blade too.
The feel is really in a supreme class, I think.
