MA LIN SOFT CARBON has the same outer veneer as the famous EXTRA blade. Its medium soft characteristics is appreciated by players who want increased ball feel.
In SOFT CARBON Yasaka is using a special, very thin Carbon fibre to improve the speed and enlarge the Sweet-spot.
Together with the thicker wooden middle veneer it gives good power.
The combination of the “power part” (carbon+thicker middle veneer) and the softer outer veneer makes Ma Lin SOFT CARBON the perfect choice for power players who need a good ball feel for best performance

Among the Ma Lin series, this one has a soft feel and is easy to use. I used to use the Innerforce ALC before, and the character feels similar. It's reasonably priced. I think Butterfly's version might be slightly better, but this one should be good enough up to intermediate level.

Bought this as my second blade.
The balance of speed, spin, and control is really good, and it doesn't feel all that carbon-like, but when you hit hard, it still delivers plenty of speed. As my first carbon blade, I have no complaints!Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

This blade is easy to handle right from the start. Stops, pushes, chiquitas, and blocks all feel stable. Drives get good spin and the ball feels heavy too. It's easy to maneuver so it works in any part of the court, but I think it really shines when playing close to the table

I can now pull off backhand drives and chiquitas that I couldn't manage before!

This is the most controllable blade in the Ma Lin series. The feel will suit some people more than others, but it's on the softer side, which tends to suit most players — the drive is more about spin than power. I'd recommend it for players who value the short game!

Here I want to write about the pros and cons of this blade depending on the type of player using it.
1. Power type
Good: the ball gets heavy no matter what rubber you use.
Bad: tends to overshoot when playing close to the table.
2. Speed type
Good: the trajectory stays low on every shot.
Bad: because the trajectory is low, you get a few more net mistakes.
3. All-round type
Good: stable no matter where you hit from, front, back, left, or right.
Bad: it's stable, but power is hard to come by.
∴This is just my personal opinion, so please take it only as a reference.Also, personally it pairs really well with Tenergy — loop drives sink in almost every time.
Even with normal drives, I think it puts more spin on the ball than other blade combinations I've triedOverall Speed Spin Control Touch
