I switched over from the Iolite
With short pips on the forehand, it grips the ball incredibly well, and even though it's an outer-carbon blade, the ball release felt just right. It still retains some of that wood feel, so it's easy to use with short pips on both forehand and backhand.
Also, on the backhand it was easy to both drive and meet the ball, so I thought it was an all-round blade.
The Iolite released the ball faster and didn't vibrate in your hand as much when you hit, but it was also faster in terms of speed.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

Mine weighs 90g. Just like everyone says, it flies! It's bouncy!!
But the feel is addictive!! I wouldn't recommend it for beginners. You might not be able to handle it well... When you want to send the ball flying, give it a good swing and it whooshes right off. Blocking works well too - the blade forms a solid wall and doesn't get pushed around by the opponent's speed or spin. It's like, "wow, a blade this good existed!" And it looks great too!! These are my impressions from borrowing it from a friend. I heard it was an outer-carbon blade, tried hitting with it, and it's incredibly easy to put spin on. Most outer-carbon blades are hard to spin and release the ball too quickly, but this one grips the ball while still generating speed. I might get one of these myself.

It's incredibly bouncy. It's also a blade I'd recommend to unorthodox attacking players using things like long pips. Fastarc G-1 is the best choice for the forehand.

The feel is amazing, no question!
The moment you hit the ball you can tell it's a great blade. The gold on the grip end looks nice too. As you'd expect from Nittaku's flagship blade.
It flies. But that doesn't mean it lacks spin, and it's easy to flick with too!
It's a really great blade.
Short pips rubber works great on it too.
Especially when paired with this DNA PRO H,
there's really no other word for it than "the best."
Buy the Acoustic Carbon and the DNA PRO H
together as a set.
Your game will get 3x better.
Short game - easy to do
Arc on the drive - average
Blocking - takes some getting used to, but fairly easy once you do
Feel - hard, but satisfying to hit

It's really bouncy. If you're not used to it, you won't be able to handle it. But once you're used to it, it turns into a monster. You can do pretty much everything - drives with good ball-holding, punchy meet shots, thin-grazing techniques. When you hit hard, the ball flies out in that straight-line way typical of carbon. I thought it was a blade for advanced players.
I'd recommend it to people who want speed and stable attacking play, or who want to use an outer-carbon blade.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

I have tacky rubber on my forehand. Even when I back off the table and hit with the forehand, it still bounces well.
