The Infinity VPS V - with Diamond Touch is a lightweight 5-ply offensive blade built around two hand-selected middle veneers that are special temperature treated (VPS-technology). I think this is the fastest blade I've ever used.
It's a bit similar to the Evanholz.

Easy to use.
Easy to put spin on the ball and it generates speed too.
Above all, it's consistent.
So once it turns into a topspin rally, I usually win,
and backhand exchanges and blocking are easy too —

This has speed you wouldn't expect from a 5-ply blade! At first I kept using it thinking, "wait, wasn't this a 7-ply?" Fan Zhendong uses it too. It's rare these days for a pro ranked world No. 4 to use a 5-ply blade, so I found it puzzling, but after using it myself it made total sense ♪ The specs are amazing! It also pairs really well with Hurricane, which made it easy to use! It flies, the feel is fantastic, and it's light — it has a ton of pluses. The shots feel a little light (for a 5-ply blade), but Hurricane makes up for that. It bounces just a bit more than the Innerforce Layer ZLC, and the feel is similar too. It's not too expensive either, so definitely give it a try!

The first thing you notice is how premium it looks.
It works with any rubber. But personally,
I like putting on something like Tenergy and going on the attack constantly,
or using tacky rubber to grind away, playing off feel.

This blade honestly shocked me! First of all, it bounces way more than you'd expect from a 5-ply blade! I was using the 7-ply SWAT before, and this one bounces even more than that! Also, the blade flexes nicely on drives, putting plenty of spin on the ball! The feel is great too — I thought it was fantastic. I think any rubber would work fine on it, but with a lively rubber you'll send balls long if you don't practice with it, so good luck!

I switched over from the Timo Boll W7 with Rakza 7 forehand and Sriver EL backhand.
By the way, on the backhand of the Infinity I'm using Acuda P2 Blue, both sides at thick.
I think part of it is the difference between 7-ply and 5-ply, but the first thing I noticed is that the ball-holding is really good!
Probably also because my previous blade was the Timo Boll W7, but control feels more stable, and above all, drives arc easily and clearly with a solid trajectory!The weight isn't too heavy, so it's easy to swing all the way through even with heavier rubbers! (´･ω･｀)b You can also go all out close to the table (´∀｀)
Blocking and pushing both feel nicely stable too.
As for downsides, speed is a bit behind what you'd get from a 7-ply blade,
and the top ply is apparently very thin and fragile, so if you keep clipping the blade against the table during short-game play, it can wear down pretty fast ( ノД`)…
I'd recommend being extra careful when peeling off the rubber too.It pairs well even with harder tension rubbers,
so I think this is a great pick for anyone coming from a 7-ply blade who wants to play a more spin-focused game!Overall Speed Spin Control Touch
