I borrowed this from a junior teammate for a bit. My impression was that it's a blade that really flies. Of course, being a 5-ply blade, I could feel that it has spin too, but since I'd assumed it was basically a leveled-up Korbel, I was surprised. It does put spin on the ball, but I felt like the spin never quite became heavy. As for the feel, personally I never really got to like it. The feel is good, sure, but it's so good that it barely feels like you're hitting the ball at all. Whether you like or dislike this feel is going to change how this blade performs for you, so it might be worth thinking it over before you buy.

After using it this time, I found a few things out. It generates a lot of speed. I think it's one of the bounciest blades among 5-ply blades. And I think it's easy to put spin on the ball. But I felt that just because it's easy to spin doesn't mean the spin itself is that strong. So I think it suits intermediate players and above who use tacky rubber.

The reviews here were good, so I went ahead and bought it right away.
It's a Chinese-style penhold blade, so the light weight really helps. (78 grams)
I'd been using the Evanholz V for a long time before this, and compared to that, this one is definitely softer.
But because of that, it's just really easy to use!!
- It generates speed.
- Easy to put spin on the ball.
- Easy to control.
- Being light, switching to the backhand side is easy.
- The sound on contact is nice too.
- Easy to play everything from delicate short-game shots to close-to-the-table and mid-distance play.
All in all, nothing but good things to say. It's such a great blade that it almost feels like my skill level went up. I think any rubber would work with it, so from here I'll fine-tune things with rubber choice.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch

The sound on contact is really distinctive!
At 82±5g it's light and easy to swing, and I think the bounce is quite lively for a 5-ply blade. That said, drives hold the ball well, making them easy to control and letting me play the way I want. I'm really glad I bought this.
I only use Hurricane on the backhand for the short game, but I think a Chinese rubber on the forehand would pair well with it too.

I've got 05 on both sides and I can still swing it fine. It's just really light — shockingly light. And it makes a nice high-pitched sound on contact. The top ply is soft, giving a pleasant feel like you're gripping the ball, but the second ply is hard, so it's a blade that works well with spin-oriented tension rubbers where you can brush the ball too. It's light but still flies, produces heavy shots, and doesn't get overpowered even with plastic balls, so I use it as my main blade. Definitely give it a try.

I used to use an ALC blade, but I switched because I wanted to tone down the bounce a bit.
The feel on drives and smashes with this blade is really good,
and the bounce is just right for me, so I'm happy with it.

I used to use TSP's Alsnova, and this one feels similar but with an even better feel.
Spin, speed, and feel are all nicely put together — it's a wonderful blade.
I'm using the rubber listed above, but if your swing speed is fast, you might also try Rasant Power Grip on the forehand and Rakza X Soft on the back.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch
