Serves, the short game, topspin drives, blocks - every technique is easy to pull off with this.
It's honestly harder to find a downside than to list the good points. That said, if you're used to an outer-carbon blade, you might feel the speed is a bit lacking. Still, the balance is good, so it's not something that bothers me too much.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

This is my impression after borrowing this for about two months to use in a tournament.
Normally I use a 7-ply all-wood blade.
It's a bit of a cliché way to put it, but this was a blade that "doesn't bounce when you don't want it to, and bounces when you do want it to."
On hard hits, you can feel the blade flex and the carbon giving you a push.
Even on light touches you feel some hardness, but it doesn't bother me at all - if anything it gave me a sense of reassurance.
This is a masterpiece I'd really want even people who aren't fond of the arylate-carbon feel to try.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

I've been using this for about a year. Topspin drives have a nice feel that resonates in your hand, really good. If you hit with a lot of impact, you'd probably be better off with an outer-carbon blade. I personally hit with a lot of impact, and it feels like it doesn't fly enough. Both loop drives and speed shots against backspin are easy to do. I think you can hit loops normally, but for speed shots it's better to hit without putting too much force into it. The short game is amazing, and flicks are good because the rubber is hard.
Pushes are easy since the ball doesn't fly off too much.

Attacking is incredibly easy!!!! Even though I'm an all-round pips-out defensive/offensive type lol

This is inner ALC, but unlike inner ZLC, the ALC feel is always front and center in the way it hits, so I think it's a blade people will be split on.
There's no technique that feels hard to do - you can handle everything with it.
If there's one downside, it's that when you drop back, the ball doesn't land very deep.
However, playing close to the table is really easy with it.

Mine is 90g.
A lot of people compare this to outer-carbon blades, so I'll mainly compare it to the inner ZLC (93g) in this review.In terms of distance it's about the same as the inner ZLC, but compared to the ZLC it bounces a bit more in a straight line, so I think it feels faster in practice.
The biggest difference is the feel - the ALC is a bit harder, closer to an outer-carbon feel, and there's no big gap in feel between light touches and hard hits.
The ZLC feels more wood-like - with light touches you get that woody "tok" feel, but hit it hard and the carbon's "kan" sound and feel becomes more pronounced, so there's more of a gap in feel there.
The ZLC's feel is something people are split on, but if you're not put off by composite blades in general, I think the ALC will appeal to pretty much everyone.
It's like a blade that rounds off the more extreme edges of an outer-carbon blade, so I'd really recommend it to anyone who wants more power than an all-wood blade but isn't quite comfortable with outer-carbon blades.
It does give a bit of a jack-of-all-trades impression, which I can see is why fewer pros use it. (For spin performance and that feeling of gripping the ball → inner ZLC; for sheer power → outer-carbon blades)
That said, from an amateur's perspective, the balance between bounce and grip on the ball comes together at a really high level,
and for anyone working to improve at table tennis going forward, this could turn out to be the best blade for them.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

Every technique is really easy to do with this blade, and I think it's great for all-round players!! With arylate carbon placed on the inner layer, when you hit a topspin drive, the blade flexes and it's incredibly easy to produce a drive with a high arc. That makes your drives really stable. On top of that, being able to hit drives with a fair amount of power is another strength of this blade. Even with all that, it also handles the finer techniques (stops, pushes, blocks) really well - it's a great blade.
As for serves, since the blade itself doesn't fly too much, it's easy to control the length, long or short.
It's a bit pricey, but I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to attack hard with topspin drives!Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft
