The first thing worth noting is that even though it's an outer blade, it doesn't have too much bounce. Since it doesn't fly too much, it works well even with short pips on it — actually, using it myself, I feel it's a really good match.
Second is the thin, slim grip. Thanks to this, switching between forehand and backhand is easy, the wrist moves freely, and even someone with small hands like me finds it comfortable to use.
Also, since the weight is on the lighter side, you can still swing through fully even with max-thickness rubber on both sides, which is another plus.
After half a year of use I have no real complaints — I think it's a really good racket.

Since there's already a lot of talk about the grip, let me start with the performance side — as an outer blade, it's quite easy to handle.
Because it uses arylate carbon, the ball doesn't fly off immediately on contact. That said, it's not soft either.Putting tacky rubber on it won't get you spin, won't give you distance, and the control is bad — not worth spending big money on. Go with tension rubber instead.

Great speed and spin, really good shots come off it. Plenty of extension too
Be careful though, if you force it the ball flies off
Smash... 9
Being an outer blade, it's got some spring to it, so this is really easy to do
Block... 5
Not the easiest. It's not the kind of racket that absorbs the opponent's power, so the ball tends to fly off a bit. If you can't get a good angle, it's tough
Push... 4
If you try to add backspin the ball flies too far, and if you just make contact it pops up — not stable. Hard to use
Stop (short push)... 7
This one was surprisingly easy to do for some reason. Satisfying how short it stays. Flies off if you force it though
Overall... 8
Seems suited for players with 3+ years of experience who can win a couple of matches at the prefectural tournament level

Like everyone says, the grip is thin
but because of that, the short game and backhand drives feel easier than with other rackets (just my personal opinion)
Forehand drives also get plenty of spin and good speed
And for counters and blocks, just a light touch is enough to land the ball on the table. The speed is fast enough that the opponent barely has time to reset their stance
I own several arylate carbon rackets, and this one is genuinely excellent for speed, spin, and control.
If you're undecided, why not give it a try?

I bought the Matsudaira Kenta ALC and yeah, backhand topspin drives are so much easier!
The power on forehand drives is amazing too!
And the grip is thin so it's easy to put power into your shots!
If you're on the fence, just go ahead and buy it!

I'd been using a Timo Boll ALC and felt the grip was a bit hard to hold, but when I picked up this racket it felt so much easier to hold! That's why I'm using it now.

Falcon (Experience: １１〜２０ years) ALC, as expected

This is a replacement for my Zhang Jike ALC. I wasn't unhappy with it and was planning to just buy the same one again, but since I was at it, I figured I'd look at something different.
The reason I originally chose the Zhang Jike ALC was that the thick grip felt stable, and it really was stable. In comparison, I picked the Matsuken ALC for how easy it makes backhand play over the table. I was a little worried about the thinner grip, but once I actually used it, it wasn't an issue at all — the backhand really is easier. Since it's the same material, it feels natural to use, and the feel off the ball is actually better on the new ALC.
I'd heard the reach is on the modest side, but it still flies further than my Zhang Jike ALC after 4-5 years of use (which makes sense, I guess).

Switched over from a Timo Boll ALC.
Like Matsudaira Kenta, I'm strong at blocking and countering, which is why I made the switch from the Timo Boll.
The first thing that surprised me was the unique grip. It's thin and slim, so being able to set up a backhand shot quickly is amazing.
It's light, so you can swing through fully with both forehand and backhand, and it lets you hit powerful topspin drives even from further back — I think it's a great racket.
Attacking over the table is easy too, and it pairs great with Tenergy.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft
