Swat Power is the fastest variant of the Japanese bestseller, TSP Swat. This modern, 7-ply offensive blade is the perfect weapon for ambitions topspin players. In order to guarantee excellent acceleration and high ball bounce, the Japanese team of TSP designers combined the 4 thin outer veneer plies with 3 faster and slightly harder veneer plies. I bought two of these in a lucky bag from a table tennis shop.
Before this, I had Rakza Z on an Innerforce Layer ALC.
My impression is that the rubber pairing worked out really well.
I've been playing table tennis for a long time, but my fundamentals aren't all that high.
Even so, I think this is a blade that can actually help improve your fundamentals.
The feedback feels great, and the ball goes right where you intend it to.
Because of that, I found it really easy to build rallies and handle balls further from the table.
That said, this might just be my own lack of skill, but I feel like my previous setup produced more spin on serves.Overall, I'd recommend this to intermediate players, and to anyone looking to improve their rally game.

I've been using this blade for about 3 years now, and the power is right up there with carbon blades.
Despite that, it's also easy to control, and shots go pretty much exactly where I want them to. That said, the ball-holding isn't as strong as a carbon blade, so I felt loop-style techniques take a bit of a knack to pull off.
Basically any rubber works fine with it, but if you're going with VICTAS rubber, I'd say Ventus Extra on both sides for middle schoolers, and V-15 Extra on both sides once you're at a high school or college level.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

Since it's all-wood, it has some flex, and even on connecting shots it still gives you a solid arc. True to its name, the speed is incredible.

I used this with short pips on my backhand.
Drive
It grips the ball, but not by a huge amount, and the speed doesn't come out as much as I expected.
Block
Relatively easy to do.
Punch
A little easier than expected.

Nothing special.
Overall

The SWAT Power is a 7-ply blade, but the power and speed on it are just monstrous.
It doesn't have the unwieldiness of a carbon blade, so it's great for anyone who just wants to hit drives with tons of power.
Hitting-style techniques are easy to pull off too.

I've been using this for about 2 years now.
The ball gets really heavy off this blade. At first it flies quite a bit, but you get used to it and it's fine.
Personally I find it pairs really well with Super Ventus, and attacking shots like forehand drives are really easy to pull off.
This is probably just because my arm isn't great, but my stops tend to run long and I often can't get them right.
