Swat Power is the fastest variant of the Japanese bestseller, TSP Swat. This modern, 7-ply offensive blade is the perfect weapon for ambitions topspin players. In order to guarantee excellent acceleration and high ball bounce, the Japanese team of TSP designers combined the 4 thin outer veneer plies with 3 faster and slightly harder veneer plies. This is a review from an inverted/short-pips fast-attack close-to-the-table playing style. It's hard and lively. The top ply is hard, so you get a lot of spin when you brush the ball. Hit it hard and flat and it makes a great sound. It has the typical bounce and ball-holding feel of a 7-ply blade, producing heavy balls that carry through. Because the blade is thick, knuckle balls off the short pips also come out heavy. It produces good variation too. That said, the short game needs some restraint since it bounces a lot on the table. I think most come in lighter than 90 grams — mine was 87 grams. Overall it felt like a classic 7-ply blade right up there with the Clipper Wood, SK7, and Fortius.

This time I tried VICRAS rubber for the first time...
It's incredibly easy to use!
Honestly I thought V>15 might be better, but the spin is even more than 15! As for speed, if you swing hard you get a powerful ball.
Overall it feels like a mix of Fastarc G-1 and S-1.
Even beginners should find it easy to use.
Especially on the backhand! On the backhand it holds its own against 15 and even Tenergy! I recommend a 7-ply blade to go with it!

This is truly a refined, upgraded version of the Swat.
It keeps the Swat's ease of use while boosting the specs.
The spec boost means more weight and more hardness,
and since it has no real quirks either good or bad,

It flies like crazy!
I honestly thought it was a carbon blade. It suits pretty much any playing style.
But the feel is quite hard, so I'd recommend it for intermediate to advanced players who want more speed.
Tacky rubber, tension rubber, short pips close to the table — it all works!
Mine weighed 89 grams.
