It feels harder than the Timo Boll ALC, which people say it resembles. The sound is on the higher side too.
If you brush the ball properly you get a nice clean loop, and if you drive through it you get a straight trajectory that lands in. That said, it's quite bouncy, so it takes some skill to use well.

FL grip, 88g.
I haven't disassembled it to check, but I'd guess the weight is concentrated near the grip, making it a handle-heavy blade.
The grip has some roundness to it, and in terms of weight balance, it feels more like the Zhang Jike model than the Timo Boll model.
It's extremely easy to generate spin, and I could feel the ball holding on the backhand too - an extremely easy blade to handle overall.
That said, the thickness or the outer ply seems to differ from something like the Zhang Jike ALC, so it's harder to feel the hardness/stiffness, and you could call it more of an intermediate-level model.
It feels like a blade designed to pair well with XIOM rubbers, while some Butterfly rubbers might not suit it as well.
Overall, the value for money is great too - a blade that left a very good impression.
If I'd come across this sooner, I think I would have been using it - the high stability and ball-holding feel that make up for a lack of raw power were really appealing.

This is clearly softer than Butterfly's outer-ALC models. I don't love describing carbon blades as “wood that flies,” but with this one, even the feel is pretty close to a wood blade. That said, it's more like the feel of a hard 5-ply blade, something like the Ma Lin Extra Offensive or the Hadraw 5. If you can use those without it feeling off, I think you can handle this one too. On the other hand, if you buy this expecting an all-wood feel just because of the words “5-ply feel,” picturing something like the All-Round Evolution or the Acoustic, you're going to get burned.
Either way, the ball really carries and flies well, but it also has good sound and holds the ball nicely, so it's quite easy to use overall. It's not a racket you'd buy just because it's cheap — it's good enough that you could choose it purely for how well-balanced it is.
Also, the sound it makes is really high-pitched!

This blade produces insane speed.
However, there wasn't much sense of gripping the ball, so I think it's best paired with a softer rubber.

Kenshin Amazing compatibility with the Omega VII Tour!!

After a year of using this, what I've realized is that it transforms when paired with XIOM rubber.
Right now I'm using Omega VII Tour on the forehand, but before that I used Jekyll & Hyde v47.5. Both feel great, and using them is just plain satisfying.
Compared to high-tension rubbers like Tenergy, XIOM rubbers aren't the fly-off-the-blade type, so pairing them with this blade gives just the right amount of bounce.
Rather than jumping straight to an expensive blade like a Butterfly, I'd recommend getting used to the game with this one first!

Forehand: Vega X
Backhand: Rasanter R48Being an outer-ply blade, it bounced a lot at first and I couldn't get any feel for spin at all. But counters went in like crazy right from the start.
By about the fourth time I used it, part of it might have been the rubber breaking in, but I suddenly started getting a feel for putting spin on the ball.
I get the impression it's quite bouncy. The blade is probably hard too, but when you actually hit with it, it grips the ball, so it doesn't feel hard at all.
I think basically any spin-friendly rubber works fine with it. It's not picky enough about rubber that you'd notice even if it's hard. It also feels like it pairs well with tacky rubber.
It makes you a bit anxious at first, but in the end it turns into an amazing blade. It's cheap too, and I'm glad I bought it!

Mine was 89g in FL (flared handle).
It's definitely one of those fly-off-the-blade types. It bounces quite a lot.
That said, the feel is somewhat soft, and like other reviewers mentioned, there's a sense of the ball being gripped.Rather than a really floppy rubber, one with a bit more firmness seems to suit it better.
German hardness 48° was easier to handle than 42.5°.For this low price, I think the performance is fantastic.
