Ma Lin EXTRA OFFENSIVE is a fast 5-ply blade developed in cooperation with Ma Lin. The very hard outer veneers are combined with selected Scandinavian pine veneers to give the blade power. The thick, medium soft center veneer helps to give the blade the very good ball feel, appreciated by technical offensive players.

I was curious so I bought the Chinese-penhold version and hit with it a bit - it's a well-balanced blade.
Topspin drive
It grips the ball well - being 5-ply, it's very easy to put spin on, and probably because the top layer is hard, it also has decent speed.
Push
Grips normally - I think partly thanks to the tacky rubber, but the amount of grip isn't bad.
Block
It doesn't fly off oddly, but it's not exactly easy to keep under control either.
Smash
I wanted a bit more pace out of it, though I think putting on tension rubber would give plenty of speed.
Overall
It's easy to put spin on and easy to use, and probably because the top layer is hard, the speed isn't bad either, so I think this is a blade intermediate-to-advanced players can use too.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

When you catch the ball solidly, you can hit really good shots with this.
It's also easy to handle the short game, and you can hit powerful shots from mid-distance too, so it's a really great blade.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

This is a shakehand blade.
Control is easy to work with, so I'd recommend it for beginners too. It's on the hard side, so blocks tend to land well, but it's harder to drive with. Though that might also be because I'm using a hard rubber.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

The throw is insane!
Even a loop that lands shallow ends up flying like a speed shot.
Put Tenergy or Dignics on it and the throw gets even crazier.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

The blade is fairly thick with not much flex, so it's hard to put spin on the ball. Flat hitting might be fine, but the topspin drive is... not great.
It might suit harder rubbers like tacky Chinese rubber better.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness hard

Put Rakza X on both sides and the throw is almost disturbingly long.
From your opponent's point of view, there's no word for it other than "hard to play against."Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

I used this as a shakehand blade. The grip will probably be a matter of taste, but once it clicks with you, it's a blade you can keep using forever.
It has a moderate amount of bounce, so the short game is easy to handle and it's easy to put spin on the ball.
For a hardwood-type blade, the price is reasonable, so I think it's great value for money - you won't regret buying it.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard
