Ma Lin EXTRA OFFENSIVE is a fast 5-ply blade developed in cooperation with Ma Lin. The very hard outer veneers are combined with selected Scandinavian pine veneers to give the blade power. The thick, medium soft center veneer helps to give the blade the very good ball feel, appreciated by technical offensive players.
Produced in the famous blade factory in Tranås, Sweden.

Yutchi @ cut Fairly hard

It's pretty hard, but not as hard as the "Hard" version, so it's relatively easy to use. And thanks to that moderate hardness, it works with both tension rubber and tacky rubber, and it's also a great match with long pips! If you're a Chinese penhold player wondering whether to switch blades, I really want you to try this one!

The top layer is hard and fast, but it's a well-balanced blade that makes every technique easy to use. I think it works with any rubber, tacky or tension.

Overall the performance was well balanced,
but I wasn't a fan of how much the impact shock traveled up into my hand.
Well, feel is a personal thing, though.
It seems like it could be used for a long time, from beginner through intermediate/advanced.
More than that though, once Ma Lin retires, what's going to happen to Yasaka…Overall Speed Spin Control Touch

The feel is really good, and both drives and loop drives are easy to put spin on. Pushes and blocks are easy too — this is a high-quality blade.
