Yasaka Mark V is one of the oldest and well known rubbers in the history of this sport. Originally released in 1969, this rubber helped revolutionize table tennis by proving that a heavy topspin attacking style was not only viable, but would also become the dominant style of table tennis from the 1970s all the way to today. These days, Mark V is still characterized by its grippy surface, medium sponge, and superb control. Today, it is a solid choice for beginners with an allround blade and all the way up to high level play when boosted and on a more offensive blade.

There is no habit and it is really easy to use. The control is terrible good and easy to attack with a course attached. The price is also cheap and the rubber holding is good.

The control is exceptionally high compared to others. Though there are various thicknesses, the recommendation is thick. (Because this rubber is a royal road of high elasticity, I think that it sells any shop.It is recommended for those who want to remember the backside strokes with a pen, those who want to train the sense of rotation.

Now being adjusted (Experience:4〜5 years) Recommended for persons with stability emphasis or those who have power but who are not confident in control

      Reviews by user

This rubber has various thicknesses such as ultra thin, thin, medium, thick, special thickness. Among them, we recommend extremely thin rubber for those who want to improve the control of the ball. However, if you wear extremely thin rubber it will be too light and the powerful ball will be difficult to strike, but it will be wonderful to supplement it with your arms.

Ikuya Tokuya (Experience:4〜5 years) Beginners and those who want to step up from there

      Reviews by user

I would recommend this rubber to those who start table tennis or who want to step up with a different rubber, those who do not match the current tension rubbers.
First of all, this rubber has a wide range of thickness of the sponge. There are five thin, medium, middle thickness, thick, special thickness and five, we recommend thin or medium for beginners.
For those who step up, the thickness is good from the inside. We do not recommend special thickness. Although a strong ball can be struck, the influence of the opponent's rotation is too big, such as Tsutsuki etc., causing over or net mistakes. I think that it is good to buy it by checking the width of the sponge thickness.

I changed the rubber and I felt it was very good.
Since rotation also moderately hangs, is a beginner good?
