The Turbo version from the Acuda series is effective due to the maximum inbuilt speed glue effect which enhances speed and acceleration. The DONIC Acuda rubbers became an immediate worldwide success the moment they entered the market. In order to offer unbeatable rubber technology for the top players DONIC included Turbo in the manufacture of its bestseller Acuda S1 series. DONIC Acuda S1 Turbo is a precision rubber designed for accuracy at high speeds. Despite the rubber being dynamic and fast, it has perfect feel - reminiscent of earlier speed glue days. Thanks to highly developed technology this advanced rubber from the house of DONIC produces good length when playing fast loops and that despite a characteristic high arc. Characteristics: spinny, accurate top class rubber Recommended for: performance orientated attackers.

It feels like the grip gets better the more you use it.
It's top-notch for flat hitting.
Drives come out a bit flat and straight.
I'd recommend it for the backhand.
It lasts a long time.
It doesn't really give an impression of bouncing much.
Might be good to use for a more controlled, connecting style of play. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I was using the same Donic Baracuda (bought overseas) and it was great. When I tried to buy it in Japan, it wasn't sold here, so I thought a similar rubber would do and bought Acuda S1 Turbo instead. The control and spin were good. But on hard impacts I felt like the power just leaked away, so I stopped using it. It's a good enough rubber, it just comes down to feel. Luckily a friend bought me a few sheets of Baracuda overseas, so I've been using that. Recently there's been news that Donic will start selling Baracuda in Japan too, which makes me happy. With my swing, Baracuda gives more spin and speed than G1.

It's an older model at this point, but it's a well-balanced, high-performance rubber with high bounce, plenty of spin, and just the right hardness.
The bounce is higher than I expected, and the sweet spot is wide, which makes it stable, and the balance between spin amount and how easily you can generate it is good too.
Even so, thanks to the 45-degree sponge hardness and a sheet that isn't too hard, it's still easy to handle. It's also relatively affordable for a Donic rubber, and the lifespan isn't bad either, which is appealing.
I think it's a solid rubber that performs well on both forehand and backhand. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Serves bite really well with this. You can rattle opponents with backspin serves alone, so I'd recommend it if you want to win points off your serve (though it still takes some skill).
(Forehand)
The sheet is on the harder side, so speed is no complaint either. It flies really well, so you can play from away from the table too.
Topspin doesn't come easily unless you actively brush for it, but when you really go for it, the power is outstanding.
(Backhand)
Topspin drives are very easy here. It's reliable and stable, so I'd recommend it for people who struggle with backhand drives.
Even a heavily backspun ball can be lifted without much trouble.Notes: lets you play with plenty of both spin and speed. If you're going to use it, I'd recommend putting it on both sides.

This is a review of the medium thickness. I went with medium for the sake of control, but it bounced about as much as the thick version of other rubbers.
Speed is quite fast, as I mentioned above. The trajectory is a bit flat too, which makes it feel even faster. Topspin drives really fly.
It's also pretty easy to hit flat shots with.
As for control, it bounces a lot but control is still quite good. I could place shots consistently to good spots.
Spin is a bit behind something like G-1, both in how easy it is to generate and in amount, but it's plenty for a spin-oriented tension rubber.
Overall it's well balanced and good value for money, so it could easily be your go-to "when in doubt" rubber. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

The feel reminded me of Nittaku's Fastarc G-1, and it was a really easy rubber to use. Thanks to this rubber, I made it to the prefectural tournament. It's my favorite rubber now.
