The ball leaves the rubber quickly, so of course you get speed, but it also gets more spin than I expected, which made chopping easy too. The short game bounces a bit too much and is a little tricky, but I felt it was more than enough for playing aggressively. I also think it's well suited as a first short pips rubber to try!

First off, it lasts an incredibly long time! It's short pips, but it does get spin — though I feel like pushes run a little long.

This is something I used back in my chopper days,
and it had a pretty good feel.
It was easy to switch between knuckle balls and hard-spinning chops,
and countering on the backhand was easy too.

Maybe because I had a bias that short pips are hard to play with, it actually felt really easy to use!
Knuckle balls are easy to produce, and when I want to put spin on it, I can put on plenty.
Personally, I was blown away by how good the receive was! I have a friend who's really good at serving, but it's way easier to return his serves with this than with inverted rubber, lol lolAll Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I used this on the backhand for chopping.
Easy to hold down, and it's easy to produce both knuckle chops and sharply spinning chops. Pushes stay low. Attacking is easy too. That said, the thinnest option available is only "thin," so if they released an extra-thin version, I think it would work great as a chopping rubber.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I was a chopper using pips on my backhand.
Maybe because I'd been using an OX (sponge-less) pips rubber, I couldn't handle a sponge-backed unorthodox rubber well, so in the end I went back to OX rubber.
I gave up after about a week, so I think this might be a rubber that splits opinion.
The range of variation on chops is large, so even when I meant to produce a knuckle ball, it would sometimes come out with sidespin and fly off the table.
It's a handful to manage, so I think it's best handled by people who are already used to short pips!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

It really lives up to its reputation. Every technique is easy to pull off with this. Whether on forehand or backhand, for short pips beginners or pros, I think anyone can use it.
