V > 01 Stiff is another innovation of the VICTAS V > 01 premium series for ambitious players. The German-Japanese team of designers (GJ Tec) succeeded in developing an extremely spinny offensive rubber which offers the perfect balance between speed and control to variable offensive strategists. The pimple geometry which is slightly more direct compared to V > 01, as well as the maximum tension of the High Energy Tension rubber sheet of V > 01 Stiff provide for excellent energy transfer when the bat hits the ball, thus developing great speed. The open-pore, state-of-the-art 45° high-performance sponge which is slightly softer than in V > 01 provides for more control in your play (“Power & Balance concept”). With this new sponge / top rubber sheet combination, V > 01 Stiff enables extremely fast and spinny topspin strokes with an aggressive ball trajectory. Especially in mid-distance topspin rallies, the V > 01 Stiff rubber unfolds its full potential. The enormous tackiness of the High Energy Tension rubber additionally enables dangerous, variant-rich serves and magnificent control in over-the-table play.

The first thing I noticed using this rubber was how high the arc is. The arc is so high that net misses have almost disappeared for me.
The attacking performance is pretty good too. But that high arc works against you when it comes to finishing power.

Above all, it draws a nice arc, so the ball is easy to keep stable.
That makes plays like countering easy too, since you don't get overpowered.
The one thing is the lifespan felt a bit short.
At about 2 hours a day, it turned white after roughly 2 weeks.
Once that happens, the bounce keeps dropping off more and more, so if you want to use it long-term, I'd recommend playing closer to mid-distance rather than away from the table.
I'd recommend it for players who like to finish points quickly while playing close to the table or at mid-distance.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I used to use Rakza X, and I picked this rubber because I wanted something softer. My impression the first time I used it was that it's softer than I expected, and it really grips the ball well, which makes it very easy to control! That said, if you're trying to finish the point with one big shot, it feels a bit lacking. Spin is easy to put on, and flat hitting is easy too, so I think it suits a player who mixes spin-heavy drives with flat hits to win points through rallies!!

It's just so easy to use, yet it also combines destructive power with stability — nothing to complain about. The performance is right up there with Tenergy! You can put it on your backhand and fight with spin and quick counters, or put it on your forehand and fire off drive after drive with power and stability — it's a truly all-around rubber!

What stands out most is
how well-rounded it is overall.
It's a rubber that gives you speed while still generating spin.

When I put it on I thought, "this is a bit heavy," but once I got used to it, it was fine.

I mainly used this on my forehand. I was previously using Ventus Spin, so I'll compare it to that.
First, the Stiff version is quite a bit harder. As for drives, compared to Ventus Spin, the ball flies noticeably higher. That feeling of the rubber grabbing the ball hard and releasing it with a slight delay is common with spin-oriented tension rubbers, and it's close to Tenergy 05. However, since it flies in more of an arc, it often landed closer to me rather than deep on the table.When I hit a drive I feel tremendous grip on the ball, but with a light touch I don't think the grip on the ball is all that great. Serves and pushes felt pretty ordinary — not particularly easy or hard. This was actually one of the good points of Ventus Spin, so I felt a bit unsatisfied here in comparison. I think this is a good rubber for someone who mainly wants to consistently land spin-heavy drives. I think even beginners who are good at driving could use it. Anyone who's used Tenergy 05 should be able to use it without feeling out of place.
One more thing — what surprised me most about this rubber was the sound it makes on contact. The first time I hit a drive with it, I honestly thought the ball had cracked. Drives seem to make more sound than smashes. I'd like people who care about the sound of their shots to try it.
