I've used every rubber in the Tenergy series, and as always, this is one I wouldn't want beginners to use.
The spin comes on by itself and the speed picks up too, so it can give you the illusion that you've gotten stronger, but in reality the ball isn't being hit with your own power — you can tell the player is being pushed around by the rubber.
Since the feel is different from hitting under your own power, I think it's better to use this only after you've built up solid fundamentals.
Only after your fundamentals are in place, once you use it, do you really understand what a good rubber and its true performance feel like.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I think both the speed and spin are better than other rubbers. However, I can't recommend it for beginners. I'd recommend it for intermediate players and above who have solid form.

I used it on my backhand. Basically it's very well balanced across the board — the spin and speed aren't skewed too much either way, and I get why Mizutani uses it.

Overall I felt it was good. However, I felt the speed was a bit lacking. The spin has that distinctive Tenergy sensation where it just naturally comes on. Well, it's a rubber that handles everything competently, and the bounce is plenty too. Works fine both close to and away from the table. I think it's a rubber that makes receiving easy. Once you've got some feel and knack for receiving, the rubber corrects the ball nicely onto the table no matter what serve you're facing, which I thought was really great. I heard Zhang Jike also uses it on his backhand, so I don't think you'd lose anything by trying it. But the price, though... For someone who mainly meets the ball (whether on backhand or forehand), I think the Rasanter V series would be better.

The reason I called this an advanced-player rubber
is that it's hard to control and hard to put spin on.
But for an advanced player, it lets you
send over tremendously fast balls

I bought this because the old packaging version was on sale cheap. I put it on my forehand in place of Fastarc G1.
When I hit it cleanly, the ball comes out a notch better in both speed and spin compared to G1. Brushing it for loop-type shots is really hard. Or rather, since the rebound is probably strong, with my technique the ball flies off before I can fully brush it. I think that to really loop well with Tenergy, you need to be an advanced player who can swing all the way through no matter what kind of ball comes at you. Without that confidence, I think it's hard to handle. That said, when I did hit it cleanly, I felt it beat G1 in every way. If you find G1 lacking, or you're aiming for a national level, I think it's worth picking up and trying. I've gotten a little more used to it, but next I'll probably go back to G1. It's just too wild a horse for me to fully handle (lol).All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Tenergy 80 is easy to hit flat with and easy to drive with, so I think it has the best stability in the whole Tenergy series.
