Most players are looking for that rubber that fits them just right. Nittaku has introduced the Fastarc series with a variety to choose from. The Fastarc G-1 has the most power of the series. It's a very direct and to the point rubber. All offensive strokes from fast drives at the table to long distance counterlooping are executed with high precision. The hardest and fastest of all the Fastarcs.

Reviewing medium thickness on a Koji Matsushita SP (previously had 999 CHN thick on it).
- Push → Bites nicely
- Serve → Grips well
- Receive → Not affected much by the opponent's spin
- Drive → Easy to lift the ball
- Smash → Good initial speed
- Chop → Has some bounce, but feels good
[Overall review]
It's high quality and easy to use, just as its reputation suggests. As for whether it works for a chopper, of course chopping technique matters, but I think as long as you have solid basic technique across the board you'll be fine.
Your attacking power goes up a lot, so you'll want to attack aggressively from away from the table. It also lets you increase your round-the-table attacks and counters against incoming drives. Also, since it's easy to lift the ball even when your contact point ends up low after coming around the table, that's not a downside - if anything, it's a benefit that it broadens your range of shots.
I think it can cover types ranging from an attacking chopper all the way to about a 6:4 defense-to-attack ratio. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

This is really good.
First, it's really easy to put spin on the ball, and it grips well.
Since using this rubber, I've been able to do serves I couldn't do before.
When you smash it, it comes out fast enough to blow right past your opponent. And on top of that, the control is really good too.
A god-tier rubber.
The packaging looks cool too.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I used it on my backhand.
It's just really easy to generate spin and speed with. Because of that, techniques like chiquita and backhand topspin drives are mostly easy to pull off. I think it would work fine on forehand too.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I used this constantly back in high school, so part of this might just be that I'm used to it.
At most I practice once a week, but usually it's more like once a month.
1) Even if my form is bad and I only use my forearm, a decent ball still comes out, so I can play a stable game.
2) Even with a small-motion serve like an up-down serve where you mix up the spin, it's impressive how much speed it can still generate.
3) You can counter almost as easily as with a tacky rubber.
Tacky rubbers have great spin, but I always struggled with the lack of speed.
You might think, "then why not just use Tenergy?" but I do a lot of counter-drives, and Tenergy makes me a little nervous when countering, so I go back and forth between tacky rubber and Fastarc G-1.
If anyone knows a tacky rubber that flies easily, please let me know.

Good for backhand. It's hard, so if you don't hit it properly or swing through it drops short. It's good for attacking backspin, but serve return might be tough until you get used to it... I feel like it's not great for backhand push either.

When the ball switched from celluloid to plastic,
tension rubbers also became the mainstream.
My old tacky rubber (Tackiness C) stopped working for me, so I switched during that transition.Tension rubbers seemed like they'd send the ball flying off,
and with my old-school feel I was scared to commit because I thought it would fly long,
but with the same spin-generating feel as a tacky rubber, the ball went where I was used to.
On top of that, when smashing or hitting flat it really snaps through the ball,
and attacks that I could never pull off with tacky rubber became easy,
so somehow I felt like I'd gotten better! (not really lol)That said, now that I'm used to tension rubber (Rasanter R53), compared to other tension rubbers, this one isn't really a fast, "pop it quick" kind of rubber.
It feels more like a rubber for players who want to commit to spin and win with it.If you're getting back into table tennis after a long break and aren't sure about today's rubbers, or if you want to fight with heavy spin, this is the rubber for you!

Like a lot of people say, it makes backhand topspin drives incredibly easy.
I'd especially recommend it to people who struggle with backhand drives against backspin.
That said, it's not like other techniques become harder either - it feels stable and easy to use overall. If you have trouble with backhand drives against backspin, or want more stable backhand play, why not give it a try on your backhand?
