Better for me than any other rubber out there!
Great balance of spin and speed, so it's really come in handy! Though if you can't play the tacky-rubber style, you might not get good shots out of it, so it won't work for everyone.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

It's not as hard as everyone on this site makes it out to be! It's not soft either, but I really don't feel any hardness.
It doesn't have that heavy, sticky tacky feel - just a light tackiness. But when you actually hit with it, it's a rubber that needs the tacky-rubber style of play. It really is different from a normal tension rubber.
If you like this kind of feel and its little quirks, you'll get hooked. I'm totally hooked right now, enjoying every bit of it.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

It's good!
It doesn't have that classic tacky feel, and it's not strongly tension-like either - it really is the "tacky tension" the tagline promises.

I really like it! For a tacky rubber it has plenty of bounce, but it's bounce you can control yourself. If you have the technique to really put spin on the ball, it grips more than you'd expect, in a good way. Blocking is actually really easy too - the ball stops dead, and stops (short pushes) hold their spot as well.
No real downsides, though the weight seems to vary a bit between units.

This is the easiest rubber for me to use, and it's let me bring out the best in my game. On top of that, my win rate has gone up compared to my previous rubber, so I'm happy with it.
As for what stands out about this rubber: it combines spin and speed, and above all, the short game and fine touch play have become more consistent, cutting down on easy mistakes, plus my serves have more bite and are easier to control.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

How much the tacky element shows up depends on the player, but if you can't play the tacky-rubber style, or don't even know what that means, it's probably not for you. Middle schoolers would probably be better off starting with Kiryu.
Personally, I can adjust my drives - dropping, curving, sliding away, or extending - just through my racket angle and how much I brush the ball. What I like best is the perfect balance between bounce and how well the ball holds on the rubber. It never flies too far, so it's fully controllable, yet the ball still shoots forward while you feel that grip on it.

Once you get used to it, you can't switch away from it. I feel like I'm getting the full performance out of this rubber as a player. I've been using it for about 1 year to 1 year 4 months now. Before this I tried Fastarc G1, GFT48, Tenergy 64, Rozena, Hurricane and others on my forehand - they were all good, sure, but none of them really brought out my own playing style. Shoryu lets my own strengths shine through the most, and it just clicks with me.
