Players using the rubber table but smash powerful drives is recommended. Out of the playing rotation sharp Tutsi and seat tube shape due to high technology and high elasticity and easy spin on a power drive. Combination of soft sponge, coaxes out a high-performance control.

This is for penhold pips on a reverse-style blade.
For pips, it takes an unusual amount of spin, which lets me get more out of the anti-spin rubber (Diabolic Special) on the other side too.
Since the blade is a fairly hard carbon one, I use "thick" thickness on the rubber to keep it from flying too far.
Serves especially bite really well.
Drives also have a lot of spin and can produce a low, sinking arc.
The only downside is that receives got more affected by the opponent's spin, but that's not a problem once you get used to it.
I've had more patterns lately where a third-ball drive pops the return up, then I score with a fifth-ball smash.
For knuckle balls, I press down into it a bit like a chop-block to create them myself.
Among the softer pips rubbers, this has to be one of the easiest to use.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I played inverted on both sides for a year, but I hit a wall with my backhand and decided to switch to short pips. I was originally thinking of Morristo SP AX, but a senior teammate recommended this rubber instead, and once I tried it, it felt really easy to use. You can use this pips rubber like inverted without any problems, and I found it easy to hit against underspin. If you're switching to forehand pips, I'd recommend this rubber.

I have this on the backhand of my Gauriki. For reference, my forehand is Spectra Speed (discontinued).
Just like Spectra, this is a rubber that handles everything in a balanced way, so it never gets boring, and even when a technique doesn't come out right, you end up thinking "yeah, that one's on me" rather than blaming the rubber. If you're someone who can't quite settle on equipment, it might be worth giving this a try.
For both meeting the ball and driving, you can lean on the rubber to some extent, so I'd especially recommend it for the backhand of players who can't get a full swing in on that side.
Even a light hit produces a decent ball, so it's good for creating chances.This rubber might end up becoming a new staple, following in the footsteps of Spectra and Morristo SP.

This rubber lets you put drive spin on the ball almost like inverted rubber. The sponge is a bit soft, so the ball really sinks into it and picks up a ton of spin. Blocks are the same way - the ball sinks into the sponge and arcs, making them stable too.
People tend to focus on drives and blocks, but the other techniques really show off its pips character. Pushes come out as knuckle balls (though you can also put spin on them if you want), and since it's still short pips, flicks against underspin lift the ball very easily. Flat-hitting techniques are the easiest thing ever on this lol. And on top of all that, the feel off the racket is great, so it's just really satisfying to play with.
Compared to Morristo SP AX, another horizontal-pip spin-oriented pips rubber, Impartial XS is clearly better at both knuckle balls and general pips character. With Morristo SP AX, spin just naturally comes onto drives, blocks, and even pushes whether you want it or not.
This is perfect for a player who wants stability on blocks and underspin hits, but also wants to bring out a bit more pips character in their other techniques!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

The grip on this thing turns everything you know about pips upside down. The flow from a third-ball drive into a fifth-ball meet shot clicks together beautifully. It still has that pips character, but you can also bring inverted-style techniques into play.

I played with this on a Japanese-style Segno.
The pips are horizontal and densely packed, and just looking at it, it seemed like it would grip the ball well - and it really does; it spins the ball a lot for short pips.
Meeting the ball felt good too. No issues producing knuckle balls, as long as you go for them yourself.
That said, this might just be down to my own technique, but when I tried lifting a low ball into an arc (roughly 80% meet, 20% brush), the grip on the ball was almost too good and I made mistakes. I had the same issue with the horizontal-pip Morristo SP AX. It didn't happen with Booster SA, though.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft
