I've been using this on my backhand for over a year now! (Thickness: extra-thin → medium)
First, if you're adopting this as a chopper, I'd recommend the "medium" thickness. To start with, this rubber is technically short pips, so chops are harder to keep under control than with long pips. So if you go with a thin sponge, you'll end up thinking "I might as well just use long pips." With the "medium" thickness, pushes are basically knuckle balls by default, but if you dig the ball into the sponge you can also send backspun pushes. For chops, you can either brush it like short pips or swing down like long pips. Either way you hit it, you get noticeably more variation than with long pips. The real value of this rubber is exactly this variation in pushes and chops. Of course, a thicker sponge makes chops harder to control, but once you get the knack, that difficulty doesn't bother you much.
In terms of ease of keeping the ball in: Do-Knuckle < long pips. In terms of variation: Do-Knuckle >> long pips.
A thin sponge is recommended for all-round pips attackers close to the table. Unlike long pips, the spin doesn't reverse cleanly, and you get a pretty nasty knuckle ball lol
For choppers, go with the "medium" thickness, and for all-round attackers close to the table, go with "extra-thin" or "super-extra-thin" — definitely give it a try!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

Glued to the backhand side of my Matsushita Koji DEF blade.
Forehand is Hurricane Turbo Blue.
I'm a chopper.[Push]
It bites.
It cuts enough that speed drives won't fly back, and if you relax and just touch it, you get a knuckle (no-spin) ball.
The trajectory was fairly straight.
Since it's hard to brush over the table, you probably need to work at it so the ball doesn't come out as an easy straight ball.[Chop]
Even against a slow ball, if you brush it firmly you can get some spin on it.
Because the spin reverses, it's a bit hard to produce a knuckle ball against loops or hard hits.
Being a half-long-pips rubber, the trajectory has a slippery feel, and if you chop a loop you can also produce the kind of slow, floaty ball typical of long pips.[Attack]
Pushes over the table go in pretty consistently.
Diving in for a backhand smash also lands fairly often.
But stepping in for a fast block seems to take some knack. It cuts decently against knuckle or backspin balls too, but I felt it's important to raise your swing speed and really brush the ball.
The feel reminded me of the strong, manual-like changes of Feint Long III.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

I've used Curl P1V (1.0, 0.5), Curl P4V (1.0, 0.5), Spectol S1 (1.6), and Speedy Soft MY (1.6) before. (I mainly chop.) I'm using Do-Knuckle in medium thickness.
If you push with a pips-style swing, it turns into a push like short pips, and you can also drive it with a pips-like feel. It doesn't have that overly dead, no-fly feeling that I got from long pips, but it also doesn't make the ball vanish like Spectol S1 does. Knuckle pushes become ridiculously easy, and from there you can smash away the resulting easy ball with your forehand's Provincial Hurricane 3 Blue Sponge (40°, 2.2mm). And if it comes down to chop versus drive, just blocking the ball back changes it enough that the opponent's drive either disappears off the table or drops straight down. Honestly, what even is this rubber. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I think this is a rubber that's good whether you use it for chopping or for attacking. I don't actually use this rubber myself, but a senior teammate does, and I found it seriously nasty to play against. Nasty in a good way. It's annoying how the ball unexpectedly stops dead. The one issue is that it's hard to handle. That's something you can't really fix without practice, and it really is difficult. But if my opponent uses this, it really gets under my skin.

Used the extra-thin version on a Defensive Player C blade.
First off, this rubber is technically short pips (big lie).
If you really go for backspin it bites, and if you just make contact it turns into a properly nasty ball.
Compared to other rubbers, it's basically Mizuno's Booster SA with the bounce toned down and a ton of variation crammed in. Highly recommended for choppers. Give it a try.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

This is my first time using short pips myself, so I can't compare it to short pips in general, but unlike long pips, it's easy to handle. The description of it being halfway between inverted rubber and long pips really fits best.
Below is my review after hitting with a current high school player.
◆ Push
You get used to it right away. Knuckle balls or shots with no spin are easy, but when you actually chop with backspin, it really has bite.
◆ Chop
Consistent. It worked well to keep the racket angle steady without overthinking it and adjust with swing speed instead. When you chop with backspin, it really has bite.
◆ Attack
Easy to do. You can hit with an inverted-rubber feel not just over the table but also from mid-distance. Straight-line shots in particular are easy.
■ Caution
Hitting the ball flat-on sends it flying way too far, but I think that's the only thing to watch out for, and your body will get used to it over time.
■ Summary
Chop = consistent, attack = easy to use, receive = a breeze… I haven't found anything bad about it so far.
● I re-covered my blade meaning to change my style, and in the end this rubber lived up to my expectations. The one thing I haven't tried yet is chopping close to the table, but if I can pull that off, I think I'll have a fun table tennis life ahead of me.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
