Yasaka can offer a table tennis rubber with a very sticky top sheet combined with a rather hard sponge.
The sticky rubber makes it easy to control the topspin, serves and short cut returns.
The tension of the sponge creates outstanding speed.Even though being a sticky Chinese rubber SHINING DRAGON is light-weighted.

I was using it on my forehand, but since it bounces quite a bit, I think it's better suited for the backhand. I'd recommend it for people who attack with loop drives on the backhand.

First off, the blue sponge looks cool. It's light. It doesn't have that typical tacky-rubber thing where you have to let it sit for about a week before it bounces properly, so it was a big help when I had a match coming up soon. It's on the softer side, so you get both spin and speed using the same strokes as with a tension rubber, which makes it easy to handle even for beginner to intermediate players. The weak point is that the ball comes out light even if you open the racket face and brush it. But I don't think this is aimed at advanced players, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. If it bothers you, I'd recommend switching to something like Shoryu or Rakza Z.

This rubber is recommended for people switching from tension to tacky who think "I want to go tacky but I don't want it heavy" or "I want more consistency." What's easy to do with it is stuff like third-ball attacks, hitting against pushes, and the short game. You can overwrite the incoming spin with your own. I got the impression the bounce is a little lacking, but if you put some power into it, it feels good.

This was the first rubber I used when trying to switch from a tension rubber to a tacky one.
The first thing I noticed using this rubber was that it's light! I only ever had the image of tacky rubbers being heavy, but this one isn't like that at all — it's really light compared to Shoryu or Hurricane.
As for technique, forehand hits and topspin drives don't bounce much at first, so shots could fall short, but once you get used to it, you don't get as many overshoots like you would with tension rubbers, and even if you take a full swing lifting against backspin, the ball stays on the table, so you can swing through with confidence. For the short game, flicks, pushes, and stops were all easy to do. This rubber is only lightly tacky and doesn't feel that much like a tacky rubber, so I think people switching over from tension rubbers can use it just fine. As for spin, I think it falls short of Tenergy or Dignics. But it's pretty stable, so it works for choppers, loop drivers, and pretty much any playing style. Since it's light, it's also a good option to use on the backhand as part of an inverted rubber on both sides setup.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

The tackiness isn't that strong, but it's easy to use for basic technique.
Compared to Shoryu, it feels light and lacking in power.
I use it on my forehand, but I think

It's tough at first, but once you get used to it, you get a really solid feel on the ball, and you can put on spin that sinks into the ball more than just relying on flex.

Since it's a tacky sheet with tension added, it has both the grip typical of Chinese rubbers and some bounce. Honestly, if you try Kiryu after other tacky rubbers, you might feel it doesn't feel very "tacky." Maybe that's why it also has less of the unpredictable ball behavior typical of tacky rubbers.
That said, because the sheet grips the ball well, I think it's also easy to use for hitting against backspin or going for quick, aggressive shots close to the table.
Still, being a tacky rubber, unlike German or Japanese rubbers, I feel like the ball doesn't really fly unless you take a full, proper swing.
This is just my personal impression, but I feel the red and black versions differ in tackiness and bounce.
The black one is a bit more tacky. The red one has more bounce than tackiness.I feel this is a rubber that's picky about the blade, so I won't mention which blade I'm using.
I think a flexible blade works more consistently. Seven-ply blades and carbon-outer blades are harder to handle, so I think they'd need practice and getting used to.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
