Yasaka can offer a table tennis rubber with a very sticky top sheet combined with a rather hard sponge.
The sticky rubber makes it easy to control the topspin, serves and short cut returns.
The tension of the sponge creates outstanding speed.Even though being a sticky Chinese rubber SHINING DRAGON is light-weighted.

This might just be compared to the Shoryu, but I felt the bounce was lacking.
Since it's a tacky rubber, if you brush it the same way you would with the Shoryu, you get similar spin.
The feel off the rubber, whether because the sponge is too soft or too light, felt a bit lacking compared to the Shoryu.
That said, compared to other tacky rubbers, the bounce is on the better side.I think it's a good option for players without a lot of power who are interested in tacky rubber.
I don't know the exact weight, but it's lighter than the V-15 Limber I have on my backhand. (Maybe around 45g?)All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

The previous rubber, the Shoryu, felt good, so I tried out the new Kiryu. First off, it's lighter in weight — on contact you feel the ball sink in more than with the Shoryu, so it's easy to put spin on and the control is good too. The speed is fast, and I was able to punch through with counter-smashes from mid-distance. It felt like a solid upgrade from the previous version, but personally I couldn't get pushes to work well. The sponge isn't all that soft, but the grip feels odd, and I kept making baffling mistakes because of it. After getting used to a firmer spin-tension rubber, I'd apparently forgotten how to play with a softer one. Given the rubber's characteristics, a single big drive from away from the table is difficult, but it feels well suited to players who want to grind out rallies. Countering felt easy, so I think it suits players who stay close to the table and swing away, as well as players who like to back off a little and rally. The price is about the same as the Shoryu, a reasonable one — I'd recommend the Kiryu if weight is a concern, and the Shoryu if you prioritize power.

I'm an unorthodox chopper, but ever since I put this on I basically never chop with my forehand anymore (lol)
If anything, I've started countering instead.
It's really light and easy to handle.
When I attack I tend to overswing and hit long, but with this rubber it feels like you need to swing that much just to get the ball in, so I'd recommend it to anyone who tends to hit long.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I'll just call it Shoryu for short.
This rubber is easier to use than the Shoryu.
Drive: The Shoryu has more power, but this rubber is more stable.
Push: Easy to cut.
Block: A bit hard to do. Can't be helped since it's soft. But it's not impossible at all.
Serve: Grips great! Really good
Watch out for this downside
This rubber is nice because it's really light, but it can make your blade feel very light-headed! If you're new to tacky rubber, start here!! Go for it!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I borrowed a friend's
I've also used the Shoryu
This one is a lot lighter in weight
The speed went up, but the spin feels like it dropped a bit
It produced a lot of power
I normally use tension rubber, but I found this easier to handle than the Shoryu
That said, the Shoryu has more power! But this one, the Kiryu, has more speed!
If you're a tension-rubber user of intermediate level or above who wants to try a tacky tension rubber, I highly recommend it!
Both the Shoryu and Kiryu have their own strengths
so I'd suggest deciding for yourself which one to try

Compared to the Shoryu, the spin is up↑
but the speed is down
Wasn't quite my cup of tea, if I do say so myself
But hey
spin-heavy drives and
loop drives were easy to pull off!
Shoryu = speed
Kiryu = spin
So, which one will you pick?

Softer and bouncier than the Shoryu, with a noticeably lighter tacky feel.
No problems doing topspin rallies from away from the table either. Like the Shoryu, it gives a better impression when you let the ball sink in and drive through it rather than brushing it.
It doesn't have that distinct tacky-rubber quirkiness, so it's easy to use — probably ideal for tension-rubber users who want to try tacky rubber for the first time.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft
