Yasaka can offer a table tennis rubber with a very sticky top sheet combined with a rather hard sponge.
The sticky rubber makes it easy to control the topspin, serves and short cut returns.

I borrowed a friend's racket.
I thought it might be a softer-sponge version of Shoryu and tried it, but it turned out to be a completely different rubber.
It has less tackiness compared to Shoryu.
But the control is overwhelmingly better than Shoryu!
I can recommend it as a first tacky rubber!

I'd say this is for players with a stable style.
I don't think it suits players who go full aggressive attack mode.

I found this to be a rubber that makes backhand shots go in consistently. The grip on the ball is good, and it's not too heavy, so you won't be late on your swing. That said, without a solid impact, topspin rallies from away from the table can be rough going.

This is a comparison with Shoryu.
The spin isn't much different between the two, but for stability and how well the ball sinks in, Kiryu feels better!

Since I'm a chopper, when I was looking for something stable with good grip on the ball, I ended up with Kiryu. It's light enough that you'd never guess it's tacky, so topspin drives are easy to hit too.

Like with Rozena, if you sink the ball into the sponge, it goes long. Even with a brushing stroke, if you swing too far forward it also goes long. But once you get used to Kiryu, light drives and topspin drives from mid-distance get good spin and are stable. Chops and pushes over the table are sharp and have become a scoring point for me. I was very satisfied, so for my next one I went from thick red Kiryu to a second sheet of thick black Kiryu. Maybe it's individual variation, but the red Kiryu felt light with good speed, while the black Kiryu felt a bit harder and heavier. It also felt like the amount of spin went up. Might just be a placebo effect from the blue sponge, though. That said, when I peeled off the red Kiryu, the sponge seemed to tear easily and it fell apart. I was planning to transplant it onto another blade, but that looks impossible. Is Kiryu's sponge just fragile? I'm planning to compete with this rubber at the spring chutairen (junior high tournament).

What stands out most about this tacky-tension rubber is its light weight. It balances things out nicely if you have a hard, heavy rubber on your forehand.
That said, being light means you have to make up for the lack of power with technique.
It's got solid tackiness, so with blocks and the like, you can really mess with your opponent.
