My honest take: "not a good fit for Neo fans."
Because the bounce is kind of half-baked, it lacks that distinctive tacky-rubber feel, and it ended up feeling like a mediocre tension rubber.
This was especially noticeable on serves — since the trajectory got closer to that of a tension rubber, I actually had opponents tell me "this is easier to read than Neo."It's also hard to grip the ball with just the sheet — techniques that rely on gripping with the sheet, which used to be easy, now feel really difficult (YG serves, for example).
If the trajectory ends up like this even though it's supposed to be tacky, then honestly, a regular tension rubber would do just as well — that's my genuine impression.
I think you need to swing the blade almost horizontally to get the most out of your drives.
Loop drives were also harder to pull off compared to Neo.
Because of that, I can't recommend it to taller players (even leaning forward, your contact point naturally drops, making a horizontal swing hard).
That said, compared to the old Pro 3, I felt it was easier for women to handle.So, I felt this is a rubber I could recommend to:
- people who aren't tall and can swing horizontally
- close-to-the-table attacking players who rarely step back
- people who don't use loop drivesAs for me, someone who relies heavily on loops and attacks from mid-distance, my honest reaction is "hmm..."

I play penhold, so worried about the weight I bought the medium thickness. Just like everyone says, the sheet is basically identical to Pro 3. I used Pro 3 a long time ago, and honestly I couldn't tell the difference. That said, even back then I always felt Pro 3 was the Hurricane rubber that gripped the ball the most, so I'm satisfied with the spin!! With pushes and backspin serves, my practice partners just couldn't lift the ball and kept dropping it into the net. Of course the fine techniques close to the table are easy to pull off too. Still, it just doesn't produce much speed. I figured that's the Chinese-rubber trade-off. But actually, that worked in my favor. My forehand is normally a big, overpowered swing, so overhitting mistakes went down, and since the speed is slower, I can recover in time even with my big swing. Shots like short blocks and flicks come out knuckle-like, light taps are slow, while smashes and drives are fast — it's easy to create a change of pace, which seemed to give my opponents real trouble and led to more of their own mistakes. Blocks also stop short, so it's especially effective against mid-to-back-court players, guys in particular! The feel is hard, so it cuts the fun of table tennis in half, but for someone as unskilled as me, it feels like a real weapon in matches.

It feels like NEO Hurricane 3 made even easier to use. The topsheet feels made for hitting with more stability, and the sponge is built to sink in easily while still generating speed. It's a next-generation tacky rubber. I don't use tacky rubbers all that much myself, but if someone asked me "which tacky rubber would you recommend?" this is definitely the one I'd answer with.

This is a rubber that picks its user. It absolutely won't suit someone new to tacky rubber. That's because, to get spin on the ball, you have to brush the drive properly, or you won't get a solid drive at all. But once you've mastered it, it'll become a seriously powerful ally. Receives and serves come with solid spin too, and chops stay low. So I think this suits players with already-stable technique.

Serves and pushes let you put a ton of spin on the ball — really great.

This is my second time going with a tacky rubber!
Before this I was using Mizuno GF Pro and Rozena!
Before that I used Shoryu.
When I used that Shoryu,
I couldn't handle it and gave up on it.
But this time, riding the wave, I went with Hurricane lol
Would I be able to handle it?
I was genuinely worried...
But it turned out to be really easy to use,
and now I'm thinking of sticking with it for good!
Drive players, choppers,
definitely give it a try.

I wasn't expecting much, but it bounces more than I thought. There was a similar product before, but the sheet really is unchanged, and it puts an incredible amount of spin on the ball.
