I was surprised the first time I used a Hurricane rubber.
When you hit a topspin drive, the combination of speed and spin is the best.
What really surprised me was the loop drive. When you brush up from below the table, the spin on the ball is incredible.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

The good part is that it bounces about as much as a tension rubber!
When I served a heavy backspin serve, my friend told me the spin was so strong they couldn't even drive it, lol. Whether I put it on forehand or backhand, it really brought out my strengths and covered my weaknesses. Pushes and stops were both easy to do — I thought it was a god-tier rubber! That's it for the good parts. Now for the bad parts: the smash speed is a bit slow, and the rubber is fairly heavy, so I feel like only players with real power can handle it!
Just switching to this rubber alone increased the number of matches I win!
It's a really great rubber, so if you want a challenge, or if you've been on a losing streak lately, definitely give it a try! You'll start winning!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I started using this right after Fastarc G-1. I have the max thickness on, and the bounce feels a bit more subdued than G-1's, but compared to the other Hurricane rubbers it flies noticeably more. On top of that, it's easy to generate spin, so pairing it with pips/anti on the backhand makes you a real pain to play against. You can do topspin rallies of course, but also play a close-to-the-table blocking and counter-hitting style.
It has a distinctive smell, but I don't think it'll bother you once you get used to it.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I normally use spin-oriented tension rubber, but there was a period when I used tacky rubber too.
Just like the maker claims, this really does fly for a Hurricane.
But don't picture the kind of bounce you get from tension rubber.
At heart it's still a tacky Hurricane rubber, so you only really feel that good bounce when you play in a way that suits tacky rubber.That said, the overall amount of spin might be a bit lower.
My impression was that they changed the sponge to boost the bounce, and that slightly cut down on the spin.For the short game, I didn't feel much difference compared to other Hurricane rubbers.
I'd recommend this to people who want to use Hurricane with plastic balls but aren't happy with the bounce.

Switching over from the MX-S.
A friend told me "it barely flies at all," so I hesitated to buy it. But once I actually used it, the bounce was decent enough, and even in rallies I could trade shots just fine.
The spin on drives and serves is beyond complaint, and my scoring rate through the fifth ball went up compared to before.
The quirky, unpredictable bounce typical of tacky rubbers is less pronounced here, but overall I think it's a great rubber.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
