Everything about it felt hard...
When I did the maintenance, the tackiness came right off... within 30 minutes of use I was already thinking about switching blades...I used it in a match. And amazingly, it barely gets affected by the opponent's spin!! (Really?)
Being tacky, it's like it just absorbs the spin...The speed was pretty slow. (This is coming from a Tenergy guy)
I've only used it for spin and drives so I can't say for sure, but it's crazy. When your swing is fast, spin and speed come together amazingly well.
For control, I tried lobbing. It lands right where I want on the opponent's side with a nice touch, lol. Before, if I tried a soft lob it would just fly off somewhere, lol.In the end, the only real uses I found were lobbing and backspin serves...

I tried this for chopping. Being a tacky rubber it's easy to keep chops under control, and pushes are easy too. The sharpness is outstanding. With tension rubbers you always have to be careful to keep chops down, but this one doesn't bounce much so it's nice and easy. On the other hand, drive attacks come out with real speed, carry, and power. If you're the type who finds tension rubbers hard to chop with but non-tension rubbers too slow to attack with, this might be just the right balance for you.

Honestly it doesn't fly much at all. But compared to the older version it does feel easier to get going. I think that's because it's a bit softer now. Everyone says the nasty ball quality Hurricane is known for is getting harder to produce, but for me it actually felt easier. The serve still bites just as well as before, and the drive goes in solidly too. I expected something more unpredictable, but it turned out to be a simple, really good rubber.

I was using NEO3, and went back to the shop looking for a replacement, found this rubber, put it on the forehand with G-1 on the backhand, and tried it out on a Tornado King. The forehand hits don't fly as much as people say — honestly not that different from NEO3, but it felt a bit softer. The drive draws a solid arc too. What's good about this rubber compared to the others is that you can still compete even when pushed back. The serve is great too, no complaints. I think it's worth buying. The downside is that it's a bit pricier than the others — it's sold at the same price as G-1, so keep that in mind. By the way, I'd avoid using it on the backhand.

The first time I hit with it, I blurted out "this is strong (for real)"
without even thinking. This is amazing lol. It's one of the best one or two tacky rubbers out there.
The speed is a bit weaker than the NEO3 blue sponge, but in terms of consistency I actually like this one better.
Forehand or backhand — I'd say forehand. On the backhand it didn't bounce much and wasn't very stable for me (probably my own arm issue)
If you're confident in your arm, I think it works either way.
I'd recommend a blade with STIGA's VPS built in.
If you use some random cheap blade you might regret it... well, basically I think it goes with pretty much anything.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

This was seriously amazing.
My forehand hits honestly don't bounce all that much.
But the topspin drive was insane — the ball just feels so heavy.
If you loop with this, even a pips-out/anti player won't be able to handle it lol.
Another great thing is the short game. Chiquita, of course, plus pushes, stops....
every bit of the short game is easy to pull off with no complaints. The push especially — you can score points with that alone.
The serve spins like crazy too, of course. I wouldn't really recommend topspin rallies from away from the table, though.

This was the first Hurricane rubber I ever tried.
Honestly, flat forehand hits don't fly much, but
when you hit a drive, it really flies.
I love how it comes in with such a great trajectory! Also, what surprised me most was how easy stops and pushes were.
And flicks too!
Overall it's easy to use and has plenty of power, so I think it's perfect for anyone who struggles with their receive.
With this, everything just seems to land! Lol
By the way, I'd been using Fastarc G1 up until now!
