      I'd been using the Hurricane Neo3, and when I heard a new version came out I re-glued it on. Used on the forehand.
      I didn't notice much difference on regular forehand hits, but I felt the difference when hitting a drive. Compared to the Neo3, the sound of the impact is more metallic, and the ball carries through better. For brushing techniques like loop drives, the Neo3 seemed to bite a bit more, but for topspin rallies and speed drives this one was easier to use. It's become a bit more tension-like, but at its core it's still a Hurricane, so I don't think beginners or players without much arm strength would be able to handle it well. Personally, I felt it balances better paired with an inner-carbon type blade rather than a plain wood blade.

      The texture feels moist/damp. It has a mix of that old-rubber smell and the smell of the sponge mentioned below, which is a weird combination. It kind of lowers my expectations right away.

      The sponge has large air bubbles and looks like it should grip the ball well. Apparently it's 45-degree hardness. But it's said to be the same AC sponge used in the Alhelg, which again lowers my expectations.

      It really doesn't fly at all... what is this.

      The drive is so slow it's not even worth discussing. It just felt kind of underwhelming. The ball doesn't carry through.

      With flicks, there's barely any sense of holding the ball before releasing it — maybe because the pips are thick, the ball comes off too fast and it's oddly hard to use.

      The smash was just... slow, lol.

      I felt this rubber suits push-and-chop style players who like to grind it out in push rallies.

      Doesn't everyone picture tacky rubber as "doesn't fly much but spins a ton"?
      I used to think that too, but the Hurricane Pro3 Turbo Orange has, of course, the spin, but also, surprisingly, the speed too — it's fast! I felt drives and everything were easy for me to hit and hard for my opponent to handle! Before this I had Fastarc G-1 on the forehand and Tenergy 05 on the backhand, but once I started using this I was hooked. Stops and things like that are way easier than I imagined.
      My serve — the YG serve — has gotten a lot sharper too. Why not give it a try, everyone?

      Alto Used on the forehand of a Chinese penhold

      It's heavy no matter how you look at it. 50+ grams is basically a given.
      If you're using a Chinese penhold setup, it'll put a fair amount of constraint on your backhand and blade choice.
      Also, personally, I'm not a fan of the smell. The Skyline doesn't bother me though.

      As for the drive and the spin, it's outstanding — this really is what table tennis is all about. You can feel a bit of that grip on the ball, so you can even blow past your opponent with a single shot.
      The short game is about average.

      The tackiness is stronger than the Hurricane Neo3, but the speed is fast!
      The serve bites well too, and above all the power on the drive is insane!!
      That said, on receive it's still pretty easily affected by incoming spin...
      If you like tacky rubbers, you really can't go wrong with this one.
