The first time I used a tacky rubber
— since I tend to overhit a lot
— using a tacky rubber made shots go in so much more easily and it was easy to use.

At first I figured it wouldn't fly much since it's a Hurricane, but when I actually hit with it, whoa...
this is amazing, I thought!
It flies!
That non-flying Hurricane actually flies!
I couldn't help laughing, like "seriously?" lol
And the drive keeps that distinctive strong Hurricane spin while still coming through fast with a real thud!
It stretched out and extended on the opponent's side of the table and my friend got mad at me, lol
It just flies and it's fast, period!
That's the best part about it!
You definitely won't regret buying it!
P.S.
At first it doesn't have much of that distinctive clacky tackiness feel that Hurricane usually has, so if that bothers you, you might find it a bit lacking.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

This thing bites into everything!
Chop → bites
Drive → tons of spin
Push → bites
The amount of spin is insane!! When you buy it the tackiness isn't much, but once you put on a TSP sheet
it gets about as tacky as a Hurricane Pro2!!

Used on the forehand.
When I pressed it with my finger it felt pretty hard. And despite being a tacky rubber, the surface feels smooth and dry.
When I actually hit a drive, though, it didn't feel hard at all — the opposite of what pressing it suggested. When I put more into the impact, the speed came out fine too. But since it's a rubber that doesn't fly much, soft shots tended to catch the net.
I think this rubber is recommended for players confident enough to really commit to the impact even in extended rallies.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

You can use it comfortably anywhere from mid-distance to away from the table.
The serve bites really well too if you brush it thin.

I use the "medium" thickness on the forehand (using max thickness pushes the blade weight over 200g).
Before this I used the "thick" version of Hurricane Pro2 on the forehand. It was easy to hit third-ball drives with a nasty, unpredictable bounce, and since the ball speed was slower it let me slow down the pace of the rally, which is why I used it.
But after a match against a high schooler where things turned into a hitting contest, I couldn't win out with a Chinese rubber that doesn't fly much (using a spin-oriented tension rubber would have been the right call), so I started looking for a Chinese rubber with a bit more bounce.
I also tried Xianglong and others, but the Turbo Orange gave me the best feel on drives.
The unpredictable bounce you get from Chinese rubber drives isn't as pronounced, but it's more consistent.
Third-ball attacks against backspin, which I'm not great at, became easier to hit, and thanks to the bouncy blade I'm using, even at "medium" thickness I got plenty of speed to really put the ball away.
Switching the rubber thickness to "medium" gave me a lot of benefits: serves and pushes bite well and stay low and land on the table, and I get better stability on reflex shots too.
In table tennis, you serve, then receive, then get into a rally. A lot of matches are decided before you even get to hit your best shot, so I ended up preferring equipment that makes serving and receiving easier over equipment built for powerful hitting.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

Before switching to this, I was using the Omega Pro.
The day I switched over and hit with it, it flew way more than a real Chinese tacky rubber, and I never once felt it was hard to use.
The serve spins a ton, and of course the drive spins like crazy too, but on top of that the speed is unbelievably fast. The block is perfect too.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
