    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
VENTUS Extra receives high ratings as a versatile rubber for intermediate players, with excellent drive performance and easy spin application being key features. However, weight is a concern, and some users report shorter durability.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Stable drive with easy arc trajectory
    • Easy to apply spin, excellent against backspin
    • Good balance between speed and spin
    • Relatively heavy weight limits dual-sided application
    • Some reports of shorter lifespan than expected
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveSpin application is excellent, and the drive performance is valuable at this price point. Highly recommendable for beginners to intermediate players. Considering cost-performance, every element scores above 80 points with excellent completion.
▽ CriticalDurability was exhausted in just one month with 8 hours weekly practice. Lost spin performance after 2.5 months, with Rozena being a better choice. Drives require clean form to stay on table, and the linear trajectory requires adaptation.

      Hiropen (Experience: 4〜5 years)

      Reviews by user

This is seriously recommended — it's cheap, but the spin is about Tenergy level, the speed is about Praxon level, and the control is about Sriver level. Plus it's a bit on the harder side, which makes it easy to use — it's basically the best. If you're not sure what to buy, get this one.

Pora (Experience: 11〜20 years) High overall performance

      Reviews by user

You can use it on both forehand and backhand. Grip on the ball, speed, distance, and spin amount are all top-notch.

Legendary Paragas (Experience: 2〜3 years) A good rubber

      Reviews by user

A lot of people say it's heavy, but I don't really feel the weight, and it generates spin properly. Also, being able to get it for around 4000 yen is nice.

Apple (Experience: 11〜20 years) If only it were lighter and the sheet lasted longer — god-tier rubber!

      Reviews by user

      Honestly, it's heavy.
Performance and cost-wise it's godly, but I don't use it because of the weight and because the topsheet gets slick fast.
No point lying about it — Ringorou doesn't lie
90 points for performance and affordability. Minus about 40 points for the weight and lifespan.

Ippao (Experience: 2〜3 years) Feels like Tenergy 05

      Reviews by user

For the price, it's a really good rubber.
It generates a little less spin than Tenergy, but still quite a lot. I'm using it on an inner blade right now, but I think it would generate even more spin and speed automatically on an outer blade.
I currently have it on my forehand, but I think it would suit either forehand or backhand.
Since it's cheap, it's a good rubber to try out.

TonofueYT (Experience: 2〜3 years) Cheap yet the fastest inverted rubber

      Reviews by user

Using it on the reverse side of a Chinese penhold blade (red MAX).
A rubber that can be called the strongest option for the backhand side has arrived.
Among inverted rubbers, I'd say it's about the fastest out there. And on top of that, the ball still sinks in nicely and picks up spin.
And it's cheap! If you buy up old stock of the SUPER VENTUS from TSP (before the merger with VICTAS), you can get it for a lot less. Performance is the same before and after, so no need to worry.
It's a rubber that can handle any technique — chiquita, pushes, hard hitting, even hitting from away from the table. It flies well even without a lot of power behind it, but if you do have power, it shows even more of its strengths. The spin you get is proportional to your swing.
If you're a fast-attacking type, I'd recommend using it on the forehand.
If you're a powerful looper, backhand is the clear choice. On forehand it might fly a bit too much.
The one weakness is that, for a hardness of 47.5, the rubber is on the heavier side.

Fighting dog (Experience: 6〜10 years) Best value for money

      Reviews by user

Max thickness on both sides. Ridiculously heavy. Over 200g.
I switched over from Bluestorm Z1.
Specs like spin and speed are high too.
No complaints with serves, stops, pushes, hitting against underspin, topspin rallies, and so on. It's my go-to rubber right now.

Next time I'll go with 2.0mm.
