    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
An advanced-level rubber that demands strong impact and high technique in exchange for exceptional performance. The dual achievement of rotation and speed, as well as increased power, receive high praise, but difficulty in handling and increased weight are noted as issues.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Overwhelming hardness delivers tremendous power and speed
    • Abundant spin and easy-to-execute short game techniques
    • Designed for hard hitters with power
    • Weak touches and mis-hits result in flat balls
    • Heavier than regular 05 with faster wear
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveThe drive power is incredible, and while it maintains a proper arc, it achieves equal or greater speed than V15. The counter-attack under heavy spin is surprisingly stable with overwhelming power.
▽ CriticalToo hard for me to handle well. Fine techniques are difficult, and the lightness that was Tenergy's advantage has completely disappeared, so I feel there's little reason to choose this over regular 05.

pingpong dude (Experience: 11〜20 years) Feels really good!

      Reviews by user

Serve: Low and biting, just like a tacky rubber.

Receive: The rubber itself is quite hard, so short-game shots like stops and pushes land on the table very consistently.

Drive: Since the rubber itself is hard, it's really easy to put spin on the ball — about as much spin as a tacky rubber gives you. The ball also naturally lands deep on the table. That said, if you don't swing through properly, it's easy to end up with a flat, spinless ball.

Block/Counter: This is where the rubber felt best to me. Since it's hard, you don't get overpowered even against a hard-hit ball.

At first I was a bit confused, thinking it felt hard and didn't fly much, but by now I feel like I've settled on this rubber for my forehand side for a while. I think it's a really good rubber that anyone with a reasonably solid impact should be able to make the most of.

Capybara (Experience: 11〜20 years) Rock-hard rubber for advanced players

      Reviews by user

I borrowed this from a friend and tried it out — it's hard, no question. That said, thanks to the soft topsheet and the spring sponge, you don't feel as much hardness as the rated hardness would suggest when you actually hit with it. Still, with my own impact strength, it was genuinely hard to sink the ball into the sponge. But when I did manage to sink it in properly, it produced a scary ball that outdid regular 05. I think this is a rubber for advanced power hitters who are confident in their impact.
For someone like me whose impact isn't that strong, regular 05 gives a more powerful ball and is also easier to hit in quick succession.

That said, because it's hard, the short game — stops, flicks, and so on — is more stable than with regular 05. Serves are also easier to put spin on and bite more because of the hardness. Countering is also easy.

Based on all this, I'd recommend this rubber to power hitters who find regular 05 too soft, or to 05 users who want more stability in their short game or sharper serves.
That said, to fully bring out this rubber's potential, I felt it's a rubber that picks its users — really meant for advanced players.

Sughi (Experience: More than 20 years) Finally, hard units are in stable supply (lol)

      Reviews by user

Finally, a rubber came out that I can confidently pair with an outer ZLC blade for the Nittaku ABS ball.
Before, you had to be picky about your rubber choice, so this really helps.
Even though 05 Hard is spin-focused, it feels less demanding than using a Chinese rubber!
This type of rubber is ideal on the forehand, but I think you need swing speed that comes from using ground reaction force properly, rather than just arm swing.
I'm glad this kind of pro player's custom-order spec has become generally available.

If a special-material blade feels too stiff for you, I feel like an inner-ply version, or an outer blade shaped like the Viscaria, offsets the stiffness nicely. Personally, I'd recommend those.

      Reviews by user

With this rubber, first of all, the spin on drives is insane, and you can also put insane spin on serves.
It's a hard rubber, but since I usually use hard rubbers anyway, it was easy for me to use! If someone drives seriously with this rubber, you won't be able to return it unless your blocking is really good.

Rich (Experience: 2〜3 years) Just amazing

      Reviews by user

I tried hitting with the demo rubber they had at the shop.

Drive: If you hit it flat, it feels unstable and the ball tends to drop short, but if you brush it, you get a nasty ball that stays low and shoots through fast.

Short game: It doesn't bounce much in the short game, so it was very easy to control. Pushes come out low and biting, chiquita was easy, and flicks were easy too.

Topspin rallies: If you make solid contact it really bounces, so you can play from away from the table too — just like on drives, you get that nasty low, fast, penetrating ball.
It's a really good rubber, but if you don't hit it properly you don't get a good ball, and a desperate mistimed shot just drops short, so overall it felt like a rubber for advanced players.

Aio nu (Experience: 11〜20 years) This rubber is insane

      Reviews by user

      I tried out a prototype.
      First of all, it's amazing.
Unlike the previous Tenergy series, it's pretty hard.
The 05 Hard puts out about 2 to 3 times the spin of regular 05.
      (Just my personal opinion though.)
I'm sure it's going to be a hugely popular product!
      Definitely give it a try.

More power than Tenergy 05. If you snap your wrist on the drive, the huge spin is about the same as 05.
But the power has gone up compared to before.
