Once winter came, Spin Art got too hard for me — it stayed stable, but the speed dropped and I couldn't punch through shots, which was frustrating.
It's probably not really suited to me, but I'd been trying out various Tenergy rubbers, and after reading a review saying this one is actually calmer in the short game, I decided to gamble and try it.
The weight is about the same as Spin Art, at 51g.
I figured the sponge would be just as scarily hard as Spin Art's, but when I actually hit with it, it was clearly softer than Spin Art and grips the ball firmly!
Honestly, it was outstandingly easy to handle, and I knew right away this was the one!
It's true that the impact can feel a bit weak, with the ball dropping short or leaving the rubber before you can fully apply spin, but even so, thanks to the 05 topsheet, it grips the ball well, so drives are really easy to hit.
As for speed, I do feel like the Bryce High Speed or Omega 7 put out more, but spin is really easy to generate, which makes it very easy to control.
And on top of that, it's easier to lift backspin balls with than Spin Art!
You need quite a bit of impact to really punch through the ball, and I did get a bit of a tacky-rubber feel from it.
Like 05, I think this is a rubber for players who like to drive.

I used max thickness. After cutting it down, it came to about 51.5g.
The hardness went up a full 7 degrees from Tenergy 05, making it a rubber with a really intense hardness.
Compared to Dignics 05, the sheet is softer but the sponge is harder.Maybe because of that overwhelming hardness, soft touches and short-game shots that don't reach the sponge barely bounce at all.
On the flip side, once you sink the ball all the way into the sponge, it delivers outstanding power, so it's easy to create a clear contrast between soft and hard shots.
Compared to Dignics 05, the trajectory is relatively flatter, and it can also handle flat-hitting shots — maybe that's the differentiating point.
That said, it demands even more physicality and skill than Dignics 05, so I think only power hitters with a fully developed swing can really use it.
Personally, the lightness that used to be a benefit of Tenergy is completely gone with this one, so I felt there wasn't much reason to go out of my way to use it.Also, I think pairing it with an inner ALC this time was a mistake.
Since you need extra impact to really bite into it, my CNF blade I already had might have been the better choice.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

Using max thickness on my forehand.
Impact-style topspin drives are easy to hit too.
Chiquitas never float on me.
The ball rises and then sinks down again.
It's got carry and weight on it, and above all it goes deep.

I used to use V22, but I had trouble lifting backspin balls, so I tried 05 Hard instead. With this, it was much easier to lift heavy backspin, and the spin really bit too. But what impressed me even more was the counter. I could hit fast balls with a trajectory that seemed to stab straight into the table. As long as you're careful that a flat hit tends to drop short, I think this rubber turns into something absurd.

Honestly, if I'm pairing this rubber with something, I think a softer blade material suits it best. Paired with a Zylon carbon blade, hitting flat shots was honestly hard to land, but it did train my feel for brushing the ball.
Still, if I had to choose, I'd probably go with an arylate carbon blade instead.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

This is a comparison with Dignics 05.
For spin, the sheet on Tenergy Hard sinks in more easily, and serves were easier to do.
But for grip on the ball, I'd still say Dignics bites a bit better.
Basically Tenergy gives you more of an arc, and Dignics gives you a flatter trajectory.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

How should I put it, this is basically a completely different rubber from Tenergy 05!
I thought it was just a harder version, but it turned out to be quite a fast, "flies off the rubber easily" kind of rubber.
Honestly, it flies more than Dignics 05. And it wears out just as fast as regular Tenergy.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard
