It's hard, but you don't really feel like it's 53 degrees. It has a firm grip feel similar to Fastarc G-1, and I think fans of German rubbers will love it.

Compared to Tenergy or Dignics, the spin performance is admittedly lower. But speed is easier to bring out with this one, and the trajectory skims just over the net and lands deep. Even though I'm not great on the backhand, I can pull off a powerful backhand with this. The best moment was a backhand drive from away from the table, hit from an awkward position — it went in with a shot that shouldn't have worked, and I even forced a block error out of the strongest senior in my second year. I'm completely in love with it.

This rubber is incredibly hard. It's a good rubber, but it takes some getting used to. It doesn't pair well with the Harimoto Innerforce ALC, so I'd recommend putting it on a softer blade.

Drives are easy to land.
Even when I hit from a really awkward position, the ball dips down
and lands in the court.
It doesn't sail long, but if you don't swing through properly it'll catch the net.

First off, compared to the R50, I don't feel much difference in hardness. That's not to say it's soft, though. But for a 53-degree rubber, the ball sinks in well and gets good spin. That said, the shots can get erratic — there's a big difference between when the ball sinks in properly and when it doesn't. The differences from the R50, as far as I could tell, are mainly the quality of the shot when the ball sinks in, and the hardness.

Put it on my backhand. Went with the Ultra Max thickness. Real men don't talk, they just use Ultra Max. If it's too heavy, hit the gym! Get swole!!
First, I didn't feel any hardness at all. There was no technique that felt awkward because it was too stiff.
Push, stop... cutting and stopping the ball are relatively easy to adjust. It might float a bit at first, though.
Backhand drive, chiquita... spin bites really well. But it doesn't grip so much that it's hard to control.
Power drives, and drives from mid-distance or away from the table are also easy, and the ball comes out heavy and fast.
Even if it turns into a loop drive, there's plenty of spin, so depending on the opponent it can make for a good rally ball.
The spin comes automatically, and unlike the R50, you rarely get that "if you don't hit it just right it goes flat" problem.Block, counter... very easy to do. Blocks apparently have a bit of extension too. I can only really flick-counter myself, but it's very good — maybe it's less affected by incoming spin.
The sheet grips with that same crisp, grabby feel as Tenergy, and I really liked that.
