Sriver EL combines Sriver's top sheet with a medium-soft elastic sponge.

The speed is on the slower side, but that gives you better control, so I'd recommend it for a beginner's backhand. Also, there weren't any techniques like blocks or pushes that were hard to do. I think it's good for beginners, but intermediate to advanced players will probably find it lacking. (This is just my personal opinion.)

The control was really good.
It's not that it has no speed
but it's not that fast either

It doesn't excel in one-shot power or spin, so it's not for people expecting a high-performance rubber, but for those who just want to consistently get the ball in, or want to build fundamentals, it's a perfect fit. Advanced players with a solid swing should use a different rubber!

This is likely to be your first or second rubber when starting table tennis, but it actually hides quite a bit of potential.

I tried this on the B-side (backhand) to practice backhand strokes with my Chinese penhold.
I wasn't expecting much, but honestly the consistency is amazing! It's not like it lets you smash through in one shot or generate crazy spin, but since switching to this I've been surprised at how few mistakes I make no matter what ball comes at me. It doesn't bounce much, but you can receive with just the right feel. It really has that perfect hardness — not too hard, not too soft — and the ball stays right on the table! Sriver has been made just the right amount softer, so the ball sinks into the sponge more easily and control is better.
