Sriver EL combines Sriver's top sheet with a medium-soft elastic sponge.

I used this as my second rubber after starting table tennis. The performance is well balanced, so you can pick up a variety of techniques with it.

Used on my backhand. My friend made it to the prefectural tournament using the Sriver, so I used Sriver EL again after two years, and while it doesn't fly at all and there were times the timing felt off, when paired with a Yasaka Rose Grade, no matter how much spin the opponent puts on the ball, I can hit backhand drives. It seems like if the blade has good bounce, it grips the ball well somehow. The people around me use G1 or Tenergy, but I want to keep competing well. If I can master it, I think it'll prove that a rubber isn't about raw performance but about compatibility. Let's keep up the daily practice!

Sriver EL is a version of the Sriver with a slightly softened sponge.
The speed is there, but the spin doesn't come out as much.
Since the sponge got softer, it's more stable.

Borrowed it from a friend and hit with it. I had Fastarc G-1 on the forehand. Bottom line, the bounce feels quite suppressed. If you don't swing all the way through, the ball won't go in. I think it's easy to use for someone who just started table tennis, but they might get unsatisfied with it pretty quickly.

Compared to today's high-tension rubbers, this rubber's speed and spin performance are lower, but the control is wonderful.
Blocking also has that feeling of the ball just stopping dead when it hits.
I used to play matches with this rubber, but these days it's pretty tough due to lack of power. I think it could work on the backhand side for a control-focused setup, or on the forehand as an entry-level option.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Among rubbers from way back in table tennis history, this one suits players who keep attacking without giving up until the opponent makes a mistake, and win that way. With this rubber, the more you repeat continuous attacks, the more the spin builds up. In other words, by the 50th hit you can generate even more spin than with a Tenergy or a Hurricane. It's a rubber that can wear the opponent down through relentless speed and spin.

Recommended as your first rubber when starting table tennis. Just put this on both sides in medium thickness and you'll be fine lol
Speed and spin are kept at a moderate, controlled level, and the control is excellent, making it perfect for learning the basics!
Once you're able to rally away from the table, it feels about time to graduate from it.
