      Control is good and pushes are easy to play too, but maybe because the sponge is soft, if you swing all out the ball won't go in.
      It might not be suited for mid-distance rallies...

      I think it's good, but it doesn't seem to bounce that much. That said, control is great and it's easy to get spin on the ball.

      I'm currently a first-year junior high student.
      Getting right to it
      I found Sriver EL to be fairly stable.
      Even I, who lacks consistency, felt like it was stable.
      Compared to other rubbers the sponge is a bit softer, so the ball sinks in and grips well on drives.
      I currently have it on my forehand
      Unrelated note, but since Sriver EL is meant for the backhand, I'm thinking of putting it on both forehand and backhand next time.

      Used this on the forehand with a TSP Euro blade.
      I used it before Bluefire and other rubbers came out, so I'm writing this from memory.
      Speed-wise it has decent bounce for a high-elasticity rubber, and the sponge is medium hardness, so it's a good step up for control-oriented players!

      I think the control on this is outstanding.
      The sponge isn't overly soft either — it's just right.

      I'd recommend this rubber to players who want to stabilize their backhand returns rather than chase speed.
