I'm currently using an 89g flared handle as my main blade. This is my review after a year and a half of use.
My first impression is that it sits somewhere between an inner and outer blade. For spin-based techniques it has that distinctive Innerforce grip-and-hold feel, giving it high stability, but for speed-based techniques it drives right through your opponent's court at outer-carbon-like speed. It's also relatively easy to control, and being bouncy for an inner blade, it excels both in exchanges further from the table and in the short game.
I'd recommend it to anyone who finds outer blades too bouncy, or to inner-blade users who want a bit more speed!Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

I normally use the Harimoto Inner ZLC. A friend told me the Ovtcharov Inner was great, so I bought one online. Mine weighs 87g. To cut to the conclusion, it bounces more than the Harimoto ZLC Inner! (Though there could be individual variation between blades...)
Looking at bounce alone, it feels about as bouncy as an outer blade. That said, the ball-holding is better than an outer blade. It really grips the ball, which made hitting against backspin easy. Hitting against topspin felt a little harder to control. Putting on a tacky rubber like 09C might bring out even more of this blade's potential. The weight balance also feels tip-heavy, giving it a fairly solid, weighty feel. I think this blade answers the needs of players who are confident in their swing speed but find outer blades hard to control, while feeling their current inner blade doesn't bounce enough.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

It's an inner carbon blade, but it's also thick, and the ball bounces off it as much as, or even more than, an outer carbon blade.
That said, it's still an inner blade at heart. It gives you a moderate softness while still popping the ball off cleanly, and if a physically strong, heavy hitter uses it, they'll get tremendous speed and spin.The blade itself is also a bit larger, so once you put rubber on it the whole racket ends up on the heavier side, which makes the drive shots feel really heavy.
I think a racket weighing 90g or more, rather than a lighter one, is definitely the best way to bring out this blade's strengths.
This is a valuable blade that I really want people with strong physical power to try.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

This is my review after about 10 months of use.
If I had to describe this blade in one word, it's a blade with the contradictory qualities of "bouncy yet controlled."
Looking at the numbers, despite being an inner blade, because of how thick it is, the bounce isn't all that different from an outer blade like the Zhang Jike ALC (though the Ovtcharov does feel a bit less bouncy).
However, because it's an inner blade, the Ovtcharov clearly generates more spin, and the ball settles onto the table nicely.
Also, my personal favorite part of this blade is the grip.
Opinions will vary, but the Ovtcharov's grip is wide and thick, making it noticeably chunkier than other blades.
I'd highly recommend it to anyone who wants to hold onto the grip firmly, or who has larger hands.
Finally, I'd recommend this blade to players using an outer blade who want a bit more grip on the ball, or players using an inner blade who want a bit more bounce.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

I switched over from the Freitas ALC.
Like the Freitas, the blade is stiff. But while the Freitas was the type that just blasts the ball out, the Ovtcharov really grips the ball, so topspin drives are easier for me than before.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

You might think it's just 0.2mm thicker than the Innerforce ALC, but the bounce is really quite different.
It might even bounce more than the Innerforce ZLC!
Pair it with a spin-heavy rubber like Tenergy or Dignics and even chops come up naturally.
It's also easy to use in the short game, and I really want advanced players to try this blade!

gadget geek A different animal from Innerforce Layer ALC

*This is just my personal opinion.
First off, my impression is that this is a completely different animal from the Innerforce Layer ALC.
Because the blade is big and thick, I felt a strong, resonant snap in my hand. In topspin rallies it let me push the exchange in my favor on both offense and defense. It also has just the right amount of bounce in the short game, so I could play there without any real discomfort.
The tricky part, though, is hitting against backspin. When you're in a solid position to hit, you get a great ball out of it, but if you don't make good contact, the thick blade seems to make the shot either sail flat or bury itself in the net.
Because the blade face is large, the overall weight runs on the heavier side, so I'd recommend it for students or working adults with good power. It's also strong on bounce for an inner blade, so I'd recommend it to anyone who likes to follow a loop drive with a flat hit.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard
