NO.1 table tennis review site

It flies quite a lot. Even compared to Butterfly's Viscaria series, this one flies more. The feel on contact is a bit on the soft side, and even though it's an outer-fiber blade, I felt a bit of a wood-like quality to it. The only thing to watch out for is that pushes over the table tend to fly too far. That said, at this price I thought it was a really good buy. I'm still experimenting to find the right rubber to pair with it. The Platinum was good.

Just like the title says, you get a blade that bounces quite well and holds the ball to a decent degree for this price, so the value for money is unbeatable. That said, the short game over the table can get unstable, so it does require some getting used to and skill. The downside of this blade is its unique feel on contact — it makes a nice sound, but that sound doesn't really translate into feedback in your hand, even though it's not a hard blade either. Some people might not like this feeling, so be careful when buying. Also, maybe because it's a fiber blade, some people say it doesn't fly at all for them. My guess is it might not suit a brushing/grazing stroke very well.
Overall review:
Rather than buying an expensive carbon blade, this is a good blade that still keeps some of that wood feel, so I really want people to give it a try.

My Cyber Shape Wood broke, so I switched to the Wavy as a replacement. First impression: it really flies! Personally I found it more stable than the Cyber Shape Wood, with a slightly lower arc, about average spin, and control that takes a bit of getting used to. After using it, the speed is very fast, and it suits players who like to smash through in one shot — even from mid-distance, a light forward swing is enough to get it in. It also pairs well with tacky rubber. If you're looking for a carbon blade to blast through with one shot, I highly recommend giving this a try.

I like the heavy feel of playing with outer-fiber blades, and I wanted to try the Cybershape too, so I picked this up, but I was surprised at how little it flew for an outer-fiber blade. I put a tacky rubber on my forehand, but drives from mid-distance don't fly unless I really put power into them. If I were pairing rubber with it, I think I should have gone with a tension rubber instead of tacky. Just for reference, I think something like andro's Rasanter R48 would pair well with it.

Even as a total beginner who just started playing, and who's bad at the short game, the ball went in smoothly, and it was really easy to use.

This is a review comparing the Cybershape Wavy (92g) to the Cybershape Carbon (86g).
Compared to the Cybershape Carbon, this one just flies a lot, so on smashes too you'll get more mishits unless you go slightly more topspin-oriented.
The feel on contact is a bit harder, but I didn't feel that any particular technique became noticeably harder to pull off.

If you like the feel of outer-fiber blades and use fast rubbers like Dignics or Tenergy, this might turn out to be the ultimate Cybershape for you.

Given the price and performance, I have a feeling this is going to be a huge hit, so if you're a Cybershape fan with some money to spare, I'd definitely recommend buying one before stock runs low.
