My Acute broke, so I bought this. Straight up, amazing — this is the Sleek 1. On the backhand, Mark V, on the forehand a standard OX, and Feint Long III. Control is good, speed feels good too, spin is no different from the Acute. It's not suited for short pips rubber, but it's great with inverted rubber. I don't think many people use long pips on one side, but it's easy to use, and even with long pips I was able to get good spin on the ball. Next I want to try tension rubber or an anti-spin rubber. Sorry for the long comment.

Performance well beyond the price.
The speed and blade thickness are great, and I didn't feel pushed around by my opponent's shots that much.
By the time you've gone through two or three rubbers, this could be a good stepping stone to a single-ply blade, at least on one side.

Light and really easy to use. I use an outer-type penhold blade, and I bought this because I wanted to get better at the short game and blocking. As expected, it's very easy to play with. Though the blade feels a little small, somehow? My backhand (reverse side) strokes are stable too. I've only ever used inverted rubber, but this blade seems to work well with any inverted rubber - it's an obedient, easygoing kind of blade. Also, it was really cheap.

I bought this because I wanted to try a Japanese penhold blade.
I put short pips rubber on it and gave it a try, and it suited it really well! I feel like it would suit inverted rubber, long pips, basically any rubber. This is for penhold with short pips.
I've been using short pips rubber for a long time, but lately the Aqua Blade has started to feel too stiff when hitting, so I switched to this one.
Even though it's a 7-ply blade, it doesn't fly too much, and yet the hitting feel is good.
It pairs excellently with a short-pips attacking style.
What surprised me was how surprisingly easy the shorts are. Flicks, pushes, and stops around the table are also easy to do.
Like the Aqua Blade or the Birmingham 77, this is one of the rare Japanese penhold blades that also suits short pips rubber well.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

Light and easy to use.
It works well for a wide range of players, from people just starting out in table tennis to veterans.
For a 7-ply blade it's light, and the control is decent. The feel isn't bad either — it's a safe, reliable blade.
As you become more advanced, it may start to feel a bit lacking, but it's a great recommendation for a first blade.
If I had to nitpick, the blade head is smaller compared to other makers.
