    High tension grain high rubber

The combination of the D.TecS technology and the classical Grass provides absolutely new varieties of the undercut and cut defence. The built-in tension in the rubber surface and sponge makes the pimples more elastic and enables an incredible undercut. Excellent control and enough speed to counter the adversary‘s disturbing attacking balls.
Now available in 0.5 and 0.9 mm!

    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
Renowned for its powerful automatic spin reversal from high-tension technology and exceptional speed, this rubber excels when mastered but demands significant learning curve and is unsuitable for beginners. Highly appreciated by cutmen and all-around defensive players.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Exceptional spin reversal and automatic ball transformation with minimal player input
    • Unusually high speed for long pips, delivering sharp pushing and smashing shots
    • High tension causes excessive bounce, requiring extensive control practice
    • Low spin sensitivity makes blocking and cutting strokes remarkably stable
    • Advanced rubber requiring experience; not recommended for long-pips beginners
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveThe variation and attacking speed are overwhelmingly superior; once mastered, it becomes addictive to use. Opponent's drives transform into well-cut returns with mere contact, delivering exceptional satisfaction in front-court cutting with penhold grip.
▽ CriticalExcessive bounce severely hinders control; performance deteriorates after 1-2 months of use. Unsuitable for beginners, and may feel insufficient for experienced players seeking more technical freedom in long-pips play.

A person called a small fish cutman (Experience: 2〜3 years) Insane once you master it

      Reviews by user

It's hard at first, but once you get used to it you can't stop using it. It's hard to add your own chop on the backhand, but if the opponent's drive already has spin on it, you can chop it back really biting. That said, if the opponent's power is too strong, you need a fair amount of skill to keep the ball under control. In the short game the ball tends to float up, but once you get the knack, the unique variation makes opponents hate playing against you.
The push has decent power too, and you can get more speed on forehand smashes than with a mediocre inverted rubber.
All in all, it's a rubber that's all about getting used to it.

      Reviews by user

The variation is so nasty I just can't win against it. Someone in my club uses it, and honestly, unorthodox rubbers feel unfair lol. I think it performs about on par with anti-spin rubber. Also it flies lol.

    • Pepen

Pepen Hard to tame, but #1 in variation among long pips

      Reviews by user

I'm using Glayzr D-tecs OX on a Butterfly Paradox (discontinued, arylate carbon).
At table tennis class, a practice partner was returning balls with a growling sound off their long pips. Surprised, I checked and it was Glayzr D-tecs,
so I tried it myself too.
      - Pros
The pips themselves are soft. But because it's a high-tension long pips rubber, the pips spring back upright quickly.
The pips tip over easily, so they tip over even with just a light touch.
Because the pips are tall, you can also ride the ball on them when hitting.
Being high tension, it gives you speed. Angled hits off the forehand are also extremely easy to do.
You can return the ball fast and with a large amount of variation.
It's a unique kind of variation, different from Curl-type pips (hard to put into words though).
      - Cons
With the OX version, the ball flies off in all sorts of directions when you push. I couldn't control pushes with the OX version.
If you add a sponge, sink the ball into the sponge, and push off the rubber's rebound, I think accuracy would improve.
However, since it's high tension and flies easily, adding a sponge makes it harder to stop the opponent's drives.

Nameless beginner (Experience: 2〜3 years) Insane variation

      Reviews by user

      Borrowed it from a friend.
So, um... the speed and variation are insane.
The speed can honestly get close to a vertical-pip short pips rubber.
It varies on its own, so it's not suited for adding your own variation.
Not suited for players who prioritize control.
      I think it's better put on a defensive-style blade.

gorilla (Experience: 4〜5 years) Better suited for beginner to intermediate players

      Reviews by user

      Just like the title says.
It flips the spin on its own, so it's not suited to adding your own variation.
That said, its knuckle ability is top notch — just dropping a block on a forehand drive is enough to make it bite back on the table. You don't need any real chopping feel for it.
The quality of your chop depends a lot on the quality of the opponent's drive.
I think knuckle drives and shallow loops are hard to chop.
Give up on pushing, honestly lol. If you try to add spin on a push,
it floats up and gets smashed, game over.
I'd recommend it to beginner-to-intermediate players. I don't think there's much reason for someone who already has a feel for chopping versus not chopping to bother using this.

Cat aerial no rotation (Experience: More than 20 years) The power of rubber is mighty!

      Reviews by user

Even beginners can return some really nasty balls just by adjusting the angle.
Players who already have the technique to vary their own chop will probably find it lacking though.
The price being high is a drawback I'd say.
For the first month you can really make use of its original ability to make the ball wobble and drop nastily, but after two months or so the bite weakens and its character fades.
Flat hits are quite difficult with it, so I've switched to the Chinese-made Chen Qing for now, but I'd like to try it again if I get the chance.

kaoru (Experience: 6〜10 years) Automatic-feeling variation

      Reviews by user

      It varies automatically.
When I tried to add my own chop, control got difficult, and with my current skill level I couldn't really make full use of it.
I felt this suits players who just persistently block rather than players who chop on their own or attack using a wide range of variation.
