The new VO > 101 is a very fast and dangerous short pips-out rubber with built-in High Energy Tension Technology. The long experience of our Japanese pips-out exper ts and the know-how of our German researchers (GJ Tec) resulted in a high-tech rubber which leaves nothing to be desired for aggressive pips-out attackers. First off, it's easy to produce knuckleballs, and if you try to put spin on it, it grips a lot. You can also ignore the opponent's spin entirely.
Topspin drive: If you try to put spin on it, it grips a lot. But you don't actually need to put spin on it.
Chop: Turns into a knuckle chop.
Serve: I use Hurricane Turbo Blue on my forehand, but after putting heavy backspin on the serve I can use this rubber to bait a knuckle push from the opponent and attack on the third ball.
Flat hitting: Very easy to do overall, but if you get the angle wrong you'll miss everything. But when it works, it becomes a really good attack.
Push: When your push goes well, it grips even more than tacky rubber.
I think you can put spin on this rubber if you make the effort to. And on top of that, since it's a tension rubber, it has real bounce ★All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

Used it on my backhand
Topspin drive
Doesn't grip much, or rather it's just not suited for topspin drives
Flat hitting
This is crazy - it's not that it's easy to use, but it makes the opponent miss a lot
Block
It moves on its own so it makes the opponent mess up constantly
Push
Doesn't grip that much either, and the ball flies off
Overall
This rubber is suited for blocking and flat hitting. It's hard to put spin on, but the speed is really fast and the amount of variation is huge. I couldn't master it myself, but it's a really good rubber, so if you're an advanced player using speed-oriented short pips who prioritizes unpredictability, definitely give it a try.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I'm a close-to-the-table all-round penhold short pips player.
I'd never found a rubber that suited my carbon blade, so I had Morristo SP on a Rideak C. This rubber produces knuckleballs easily, has great pop, and the trajectory is wonderfully flat and straight.
If you hit it with a sideways-swiping motion, like flicking rather than brushing, it tends to come out as a knuckleball.
It's less stable than Morristo, but for the opponent, dealing with such a fast knuckleball seems to be quite a handful.
Smashes and short shots come out as knuckleballs, and opponents keep dumping them into the net.
Blocking or counter-smashing the opponent's drives is easy too.
It suits a carbon blade with a hard top layer very well.
The one blemish is that underspin serves don't bite well, and stops tend to slip, making them tricky.

Switching over from anti-spin, I have three impressions:
1. It ignores a good amount of incoming spin
2. Even so, if you hit the ball with a bit of topspin, it still arcs to some extent
3. Both the sheet and sponge have strong rebound. It really fliesPoint 1 is great defensively — blocking opponents' drives and handling underspin serves becomes very easy.
Points 2 and 3 are great offensively — it gives smashes a stable feel and produces shots that are hard for the opponent to handle.
Depending on how you hit it, a knuckleball can even keep some underspin after the bounce.The downside is that because the rebound is strong, you need to put in some work and practice on your stop shots, and you also have to keep in mind that it won't automatically reverse spin the way anti-spin does. But more than anything, I've started winning more, and the benefits outweigh that, so I plan to keep using it for a while.

Fujii (Experience: ４〜５ years) Strongest pips-out for penhold.

I switched over from Booster EV on my penhold short pips.
I was catching the ball in the net pretty often on blocks, so I switched to this one.
The short game and blocking are both a lot easier now.
As for the knuckleball effect, it can't beat Booster EV, but control is better with this one.
Angled shots also land deep in the opponent's court nicely.
At this point I feel like I don't need anything more from a rubber.
Spin is hard to generate though, so I'd recommend it to Chinese-penhold players running short pips on one side and inverted on the other!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I personally find it a bit hard to use. It probably comes down to individual differences — for people it suits, I think it's a very easy rubber to use, but for me,
it flies a bit too much and I find it hard to control. I'm pretty sure the thickness I had was 1.8.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
