The new VO > 101 is a very fast and dangerous short pips-out rubber with built-in High Energy Tension Technology. The long experience of our Japanese pips-out exper ts and the know-how of our German researchers (GJ Tec) resulted in a high-tech rubber which leaves nothing to be desired for aggressive pips-out attackers. The new rubber sheet with optimized pips geometry produces a great pips-out effect, and the flat trajectory of the ball will put your opponent under pressure. The elastic sponge combined with our High Energy Tension Technology opens up new dimensions of speed development in the pips-out segment.

    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
Highly evaluated as a knuckleball generating machine with outstanding speed and variation capabilities, positioned as a rubber for advanced players. While facing challenges with stability depending on weather and play techniques, it is recognized as a powerful weapon when mastered.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Knuckleballs naturally emerge easily, highly effective as change-ups for opponents
    • Superior attacking power with speed and linear ball trajectory
    • Difficult to apply spin, unsuitable for drives and backspin shots
    • Susceptible to humidity and weather changes, stability issues present
    • Compatible with hard rackets, requires advanced technical skills for proper use
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveThe combination of one-shot penetrating power and knuckleball performance is exceptional. When mastered, it delivers top-class offensive power among speed-type offensive rubbers, making it extremely difficult for opponents to handle.
▽ CriticalOn rainy days, friction disappears and balls lose grip, requiring significant changes to playing style depending on weather conditions, making it unsuitable for players seeking stable performance in all conditions.

      Reviews by user

It is a feeling that knuckle comes out really without permission.
I think that control may be a little hard to do

Owner of a tabby and white cat and a mackerel tabby cat (Experience:11〜20 years) It's easy to produce knuckleballs, but it's extremely vulnerable to humidity.

      Reviews by user

I use this rubber on my penhold grip with a forehand pips, and personally, I find the 2.0mm thickness to be ideal.

Because it has tension, even weaker players can hit the ball with considerable speed. Light shots are easy to control, and even just forehand shots will produce knuckleballs. However, when hitting hard, the ball flies in a straight line, so you need to slightly cover the ball to avoid overhitting.

On the other hand, on rainy days, it feels like it's become an anti-spin rubber; the friction disappears completely, and it doesn't grip the ball well. Therefore, in matches with sunny mornings and heavy rain in the afternoons, you have to adjust the racket angle after each match, or give up on drives and switch to angled shots and flat hits. It becomes an extremely difficult rubber to use. Even forehand shots before a match become prone to net errors for both you and your opponent, and pushes become all floating knuckleballs without any spin. However, blocks and short shots produce incredibly powerful knuckleballs.

Even on rainy days, if you play well, you can beat higher-ranked opponents, but you also often make mistakes.

I definitely wouldn't recommend this to anyone who wants consistent play regardless of the weather.

Wandering Takuto (Experience:11〜20 years) Speed and knuckle

      Reviews by user

Comparison with Moristo SP. Used for backhand

      -Speed

Produces the same speed as Moristo or a little faster.

      -Knuckle

It doesn't produce as much speed as the Chinese-style change table, but I think it's easier to produce than Moristo.

      -Bounce

It doesn't fly as far as I thought it would. It flies like a tension-type table rubber.

      -Spin

It catches more than I thought it would, but it's not as secure as Moristo.

I think it's a little more difficult to hit against underspin.

Overall, I think it's a rubber that specializes in speed and knuckles, but isn't too difficult to handle.

I think it's suitable for backhand table rubber players who mainly fight with blocks and knuckles.

Masamune (Experience:6〜10 years) For those who want a boost on the surface!

      Reviews by user

This is recommended for those who want a tough and strict trajectory from their topspin rubber!
It's surprisingly easy to hit drives, so you can take away your opponent's definition of a topspin as a smash and attack from various angles!!

I don't think many people use this, but it makes for an extremely knuckle-like ball.
The speed is also surprisingly fast.
Overall, it's difficult to master, but once you do, it's a very powerful rubber.
So far, it's the best rubber I've ever used.

It is difficult to get a natural knuckle, and it is similar to a speed type. The sponge is soft, making it easy to control.
