RAKZA X table tennis rubber from Yasaka is the latest addition to the popular and highly successful RAXZA series of Yasaka rubbers. The top sheet is a mainly natural rubber gum, employing a new production method.
The result is a top surface with exceptional grip enabling both phenomenal spin and speed. These qualities reduce the margin for error. This top sheet is then combined with a harder “Power Sponge”. The resulting combination of a faster sponge and high grip top sheet enables you to place the ball accurately with a high degree of success.
Serves and short returns are both very sharp, similar to the Rakza 7 and Rakza 9.
RAKZA X – yet another winning combination from Yasaka!

    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
Highly praised for excellent grip strength and spin performance, while the hard sheet and requirement for swing speed are challenges. Recognized as a mid-to-advanced rubber suited for drive-type players and power hitters.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Strong grip force makes spin easy to apply
    • Hard sheet requires feeding the ball properly
    • Designed for players with fast swing speed
    • Stable for drives and close-to-net techniques
    • Durability somewhat short at 2-3 months
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveNaturally creates arcs and feels softer despite hard rating. With strong grip, it's ideal for spin-focused players and produces power proportional to swing speed.
▽ CriticalParticles lifted and sheet became slippery after 2-3 months of use. Short durability and requires proper engagement to produce adequate ball lift.

Rakuza is No. 1 (Experience: 4〜5 years) It just goes in

      Reviews by user

If I had to describe this rubber in one word, it's that all kinds of techniques become easy. I was surprised the first time I used it. It has a solid feeling of holding the ball, and drives fly with a nice high arc and plenty of speed too. I couldn't stop grinning, thinking "a rubber like this actually exists" lol. Serves might be a little harder to put spin on? But you can still get plenty of spin! Overall, it holds the ball well across all kinds of techniques, so I really recommend this rubber!

Land_17 The topspin drive arc is amazing!

      Reviews by user

I used to not be able to put good spin on my drives, but ever since I found this rubber, whenever I think "okay, spin it here," I can really brush the ball properly, and it goes into the opponent's court drawing a beautiful arc. It's amazing!

As for spin on serves, if you brush it you get a decent amount, more or less.

      Bo Spin-focused

      Reviews by user

When you hit with a looping motion, you get a high arcing trajectory and good stability. Flicks are easy too — I think it's a high-performance rubber. I didn't feel there was any particular technique that was hard to do. I'd really recommend it to drive players who prioritize spin and stability.

I heard chan (Experience: 2〜3 years) The spin is insane!

      Reviews by user

The amount of spin you get on drives is amazing. But I felt it was harder to get spin on serves. It's a great rubber that makes table tennis even more fun.

      Shun (Experience: 11〜20 years) A German-style rubber

      Reviews by user

The sponge's air bubbles aren't very big, so it has good firmness.
Because of that, you can really brush the ball, so it grips well and spins a lot.
It's not super hard, so a skilled player could probably sink the ball in and hit it that way too lol
The weight is neither particularly good nor bad — it's solid.

Raccoon chairman (Experience: 4〜5 years) Amazing grip!!

      Reviews by user

First off, just like the title says, its strength in topspin rallies is insane.
It gets a ton of spin and speed too.
It's also incredibly easy to block with.
This kind of performance at this price is amazing.

God of the net in (Experience: 11〜20 years) No slipping

      Reviews by user

True to being marketed as non-slip, I almost never mis-hit because of the sheet slipping.
It also produces quite a bit of speed.
Aside from not having that automatic-spin feel, I felt its performance was close to Tenergy.
The only thing that bugs me is that if you put this on both sides, it gets pretty heavy.
Aside from the weight, it's a truly wonderful rubber.
